The US2001 was Ryko's answer to the Laserwash 4000. It's a better engineered system, which uses a belt-drive system rather than pneumatic. However, the control design leaves something to be desired- it hunts around the vehicle endlessly, constantly adjusting itself as it goes around. It makes the system slower going around the vehicle than a Laserwash.
Does anyone remember the old Robo Car Wash? It was basically a small robot-like box with a spray arm that made several passes around the vehicle on a small track. I thought those car washes were really cool when I was a kid. Car wash technology has really advanced since those days.
Yeah, they still have those around here. They are still being made by Hydro-Spray as their Classic series. They are horribly inefficient in their use of water, but very reliable.

Why did that Car wash system have the same arm like the Radius Had?

@araflygare
The Radius is the direct successor to this system. It is very similar.

I must admit US2001 Overhead looks like a very simple mainframe

@MegahyperDaniel
It is fiendishly complicated, though. It even has water-cooled drive rollers!
