@mywillfull ive flown one rc plane in my life, and sometimes you have to get an rc plane lisince thing for large planes. but those are smaller than my U2 spy plane i had so i would assume not. and theyre flying by themselves. which just lessens the need for a licence.:)

@mywillfull You don't need a license... read my reply. I'm an AAA member, the biggest RC airplane club worldwide, and I'm friends with Chris Henson, the owner of Extreme Flight RC. I know what I'm talking about.... I personally own 5 RC airplanes and two are in construction. My grandpa owns somewhere around 50 planes.

@CrazeyCAzey You need a license to fly a big plane. Real planes yes, models, no. I know this because I grew up doing RC planes and I'm a 4th Generation Model plane enthusiast. We fly 128" wingspan Edge 540's at our local clubs with no problem. You just need the skills and a place to do it.
