I went through both storylines before fighting Adell, and then Adell and Rozalin, leveling up one Warrior-Cosmic Hero the whole time and used the third ordeal to get the rest of the way. If you use mainly one person his/ her weapon mastery will be insane enough to pown most anything in short order. except for baal what you need mostly level 100 top rank stuff to beat.

Using your whole party to defeat Adell...

try focusing on leveling up one character in any disgae game, it makes it much easier.

level up everyone else after you have one person high enough to pown everyone.

But there is one thing, HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET MAJIN AND ANGEL CLASSES.

I HAVE MAXED EVERY CLASS BUT PRINNY AND FOUR OTHERS WHAT I HAVE NOT UNLOCKED. ALL HUMAN TYPE.

Well it IS the DS. About 90% of its hardware is being used up on the touchscreen so it doesn't leave a lot of room for everything else. I still like the DS though and I have a PSP.

I did 4868 kills in cave of ordeal 3(total).

The more you recarnate your characters the higher their abilities get.

Oh by the way. If you want a character to join you easy at lvl 2000. You need atleast 2 lvl 1000 majins and a lvl 500+ mage with healing abilities or healer with mage abilities. Finish Alternate Netherworld and kill Priere. lvl 2000 does 40-50k dmg a hit and only has 300k hp. Easy to kill with dble nightsevers cuz majins do close to 60kk dmg at lvl 1000 with nightsevers. Priere is very useful in aiding you to get adell more quickly.

They help... when you want a GOOD heal, you know, a person with intellect. When you're doing hard places like baal you're going to need the extra turn as well as the good heals

there is no way to train a gunner unless you have patience and do single kills with gunner solo in same place. (Reason why that place is the best is cuz the +50 exp is really +50% exp) It gives more exp than a lvl 3000.

If you want to train a thief you gotta have a character with atleast 30 sword mastery or else it takes 4ever to get to 1000 and above.

no you need a thief with 10 mastery for winged slayer not 30

If you wanna train a mage you go to same place and use a weaker players winged slayer on the mob then kill it with a 9 panel atk with magic.

If you want to get each character to lvl 1000 in less than an hour (only possible if you were me). You have to have a weapon of over 5000 atk pwr and a sword mastery of 15 or more. You go to Cave of Ordeals 3 and in 1 shot kill all the enemies with a single winged slayer. I use a 13k atk 2k and higher on every other stats Cosmic blade with rarity of 1 and item level of 40. I get to lvl 1000 in less than 20 minutes of killing. Got 3 majins at lvl 1200.

he is in the PSP version too, that was the first Disgaea 1 version to have him, the DS version just made it possible to recruit him, Rozalin, Zetta and Pleinair(all of them were in the PSP version, you just couldn't get them).

How do I beat the fifth floor of cave of ordeal? There's a monster floating on a small island and I cant get to it, so I can't beat it.

Get a couple of Bandits to throw people.

Yeah, you need at least two people that can throw six spaces, form a stack, and toss. Gordon and a Rogue should be sufficient. Don't go after this guy until the enemies on the main platform have been beaten, however. In addition, if you plan on taking this guy down with more than one character, take all your people with you the first time you throw, because you'll have a person stuck on the little island in between, and the only way to get rid of him it seems would be to ally kill him.

hey um can u give me some tips on lvling up fast. ive been trying cave of ordeals 3 but it hasnt been fast enough. i even got the enemies stronger 4 TIMES and that hasnt been nearly enough yet. so please give me some tips on lvling faster.

In the DS version eventually a stage called Demonhall Mirror is unlocked, and after beating Adell and Rozalin the best level-up spot in the game is available. If you don't have the DS version then you can't get it though.

If you have the PSP version though you should be able to play Etna mode, and I think there's a really good level-up spot on that mode of the game. GameFAQs would be able to tell you the details.

The PSP version has Demonhall Mirror, that is how that place got put into the game, it started in the PSP version.

You just can't get Adell, Rozalin, Zetta and Pleinair in the PSP version, everything else is the same in both versions with the DS having worse graphics, worse music quality, less voice acting, less party space for created characters and less active characters on screen(the Dark Assembly Senate is smaller on the DS version).

Also, there are these specialities on items called statisticians which increase the experience a character gets. It's max number of effectiveness is 300. If you get a statistician with 300 points on any item equipped on your character, they basically get 400% experience I believe. Again, check GameFAQs since they have everything about the game explained on there.

Do you get those shadow lines that cover up half the screen everytime you do a skill or something? It just seems really horrendous. :| Congrats on enduring that fight for so long with your characters.

@realw0rld Yes, Statisticians exist in Disgaea1, just not Disgaea 2 which is where Felonies come in instead. I haven't played Disgaea 3, but they brought Statisticians back into it due to how hard it was to keep count of how many felonies one had which I believe may be the case.
