  • John Deacon on the bass folks! <3 All four of them were and forever are totally epic.

  • Blimey, it must have been a proud time to be in Britain with artists like this.

There are no greats left any more :(

  • @forsoup you still have Elton John.

  • one true religion.... one vision..... rock n roll at it's it's finest hour... long may you rock Freddie .....

  • Powerful!!!!!

  • Grew up watching this & listening to it `when was a teenager it was raves & monday`s ! but still remember this as it`s where got my passion for all music.Think the best gig i`ve been too as big & amazing was Pink Floyd & Rodger Waters but diff style of music but still amazing & amazing. The music these day`s is the pit`s ! even my old rave tunes are better than half the shit u hear now !.That x-factor is an insult to real music & bands like Queen & Floyd & rave lol !..Timeless.

  • From the Iron Eagle movie, 1986. One vision...wow!

  • TURNED IT RIGHT UP!! Can only imagine that music going thru u at a concert - BRILLIANT!!

  • Perfect performance by all....That's how it's supposed to be done!

  • I'll never understand where Freddie got all that energy from, even a man half his age would have trouble running around the way he did. Ah well, miss ya Fred.

  • @AliceInWonderland85 You're right! IHe isn´t real ! He´s a GOD !!!!!!!!

  • @AliceInWonderland85 Half his age in this concert is 20:)

  • How Powerfull !!

  • Freddie told Brian backstage here that this is the last time they will do this. Freddie said I can't fuckin do this anymore. Brian just blew it off. Freddie knew.

  • God please take bieber, gaga, rihanna

and in exchange give us back Freddie Mercuy pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese.

  • After the song, the recommended viewing windows....bottom left, hammer to fall, Freddie's pose....EPIC EPIC EPIC!!!!!

  • I was there ... it was my first gig! First band on that day was INXS! Queen were incredible

  • @TheGibson5150 U r soooo lucky! must have been amazing...like you wanted it to go on forever!

  • @TheGibson5150 ahh dude you have no idea how lucky you were! I'm a 14 year old boy and i would trade the rest of my life to have gone to that concert in 1986! And you saw Freddie, wow i think i would faint if i woul've met him! (:

  • @darthgabriel97 yeah, me too

  • круто!

  • This was to be Freddie's last concert. By early 1987 Freddie's illness started to get to him... enough to make him get a medical check-up because he had been feeling punk. He had found Jim Hutton, and his private life was in control. He was a happy, satisfied man for the first time. But it was too late and Freddie's fate was sealed. : (

  • @siriusminx wasn't knebworth the last concert?

  • @LoveFrusciante ...Knebworth it was. Thank you for the correction. I believe the two concerts were only a month apart, in August and Sept of 1986. In one of the concerts, because of false rumors that Queen was beaking up, Freddie had announced that they would be together until they died. How prophetic was that? :(

  • @siriusminx I know :( he said it right before they played Who Wants to Live Forever. Very sad :(

  • QUEEN I LOVE IT TILL I DIE

  • Every day I hear at least about 5 songs from queen to sleep happy!

  • @frnk90 Same here. Except, I hear at least 10 from queen for a good happy sleep...

  • i fuckin love him, lol

  • GOOSEBUMPS all over my body when i hear brians riff and freddie enters the stage! one of the best songs in history!

  • 11 people can't get enough fried chicken ...

  • yeh but we got Rebecca Black now so who's the real winner?

  • How good is that??? Is there any such thing as music today?

  • I can't understand why people push on the dislike button ?

  • @BabyAngel050 hai propio ragione ma come si fa??impossibile

  • ...only ONE FREDDIE...RIP

  • The Voice

  • It's a shame nobody makes Rock anymore

  • OMG what would I give to be on this concert.. uf

  • Queen are the flag bearers for how to put on a live performance. It took years of hard graft to get to this stage, my mum and dad seen them live in the early 70s, bands these days arent given that time to develop anymore

  • I was born in 1987 and pretty pissed off that my generation didnt get to experience real music and real voices. I feel angry that people like spice girls and s club 7 were forced upon me while growing up, i didnt know any different. I hate the simon cowels for corrupting the music industry. i feel cheated!!!! QUEEN FOREVER!!

  • 1:15 вспомнил как я на Дембель в родной городок вернулся, меня так же встречали!!!! :+)

  • I like the faster tempo of this live version than the slower original recorded version.

  • God.. even today I envy him for that jacket :D

  • One of the best, if not THE, best concert ever!

  • Huh? Whaaaaaaaat? Eleven people didn't like this?? Are you Martians?

20 years - Rock On Freddie

  • Some people talks about Sinatra calling him "The Voice". Well..for me there's only one VOICE.. The (real) Voice.. Freddy..no one like you

  • @MrSurFuNk They're both well above God status, they don't need to be compared. Besides it's different kinds of music. I certainly enjoy both, not at the same time of course, but at the appropriate time.

  • Best song in GTA 4.

  • @OfficialArma Yes Sir!

  • Hard to believe its 20 years today since he left us..RIP Freddie there will never be another like you

  • Question: whenever you go to a gig, arena for pretty much anything, its usually Queen they are playing before the show starts as everyone is heading to seats. But what were they playing before a Queen gig?

  • @KristianTNA queen

  • where is "IMMORTAL" button?????

  • @bebo85 it's on our hearts

  • @bebo85 Nice little 'Highlander' reference too, good call :)

  • 20 years now - Freddie, you are missed.

  • tu ne mouras jamais!

  • They're the benchmark for live performance

  • freddie,freddie what a showman

  • Their set at Live Aid gave a taste of what was to come a year later....fantastic stuff!

  • Oh my god ! How many people there was ??? Queen is an amazing music group...I love us !

  • I would say the best rock concert in history!!!

  • I used to put this on my GTA IV without knowing I was listening to one of the best bands in history!!!! Now I'm a fan for life

  • o fridd nguoll!

  • Shit! I was just 3 years old!

Why couldn't I see them in a live performance????

Queen the best band of the history of rock...

  • Freddie rocks the stage just by entering it ;-)

  • ...unfortunately i was only a child!!

  • Epic Mustache!!!!!

  • Freddy Mercury>performer all time.

  • 1:23 - Freddie owns Wembley!

  • 0:12 anasını sikeyim diyor.

  • I remember standing infront of Freddie when he was on stage at Live Aid back in 85. It is indiscribable the way he made us feel that day and they wernt even a queen audience. Only proboblem was every gig I went to after that was a waste of time, after been at a queen gig. I still have my live aid tickets in a frame. Just think all what the bands do now Queen were doing that 20 years before anyone. Imagine what he would be doing if he were alive today. Love ya man.

  • Fucking awesome!!!

  • All hail the rock god, Freddie Mercury!

  • i miss the old Wembley. much more original and iconic to what is there now.

  • If I only had been born earlier ):

  • ohh, be there, so I orgamus

  • play it in the car and my 5 year old screams his lungs out to both CDs from this performance

  • Freddie Mercuy=Best performer of all time.

  • @jakethemuss3 It's funny because he spelled Mercury wrong, but they liked it anyway.

  • @raoulandtheking id say keith moon on drums and john entwistle on bass

  • This is the best performance in rock history. All todays rock vocalists fall short when compared to mister Bad Guy. No rock vocalist since Freddie could match up to him and his wide specter of abilities. The man was a phenomen walking and dancing on the stage. When Queen played, the world listened.

  • 25 years ago. Jesus it seems like yesterday.

This concert has got to be considered one of the best live performances by anyone since James Brown played the Apollo in 1968.

    Genius.

  • Comment removed

  • @raoulandtheking I'm thinking John Bonham on drums, Cliff Burton and/or Phil Lynott on bass, and 'Pigpen' McKernan on keys.

  • anybody knows how many people was on this concert ??

  • @dostawca1982 Between 70,000-80,000 people. An immediate sell out.

  • @dostawca1982 Forgot to add that Queen performed two nights - Friday & Saturday. Both immediate sell outs. This performance was on Saturday.

  • "Iron Eagle" oh yes! :-) 3:57 = epic!

  • i just have a music orgasm . Thanks queen :)

  • In the words of Alan Partridge 'CLASSIC QUEEN!'

  • I was there in 86 and this opening number sent the crowd wild, the atmoshere was electric, goose bumps on the back of your neck and it still does. Irreplaceable. Nobody has ever rocked like those guys. It was the best rock concert in history.

  • @boycieboy100 i only wish i was alive when this concert happened. I envy you, the fact that i'll never see Freddie Mercury or Queen live in concert as a full band really depresses me.

  • @boycieboy100 you are very very lucky ! i'm just 15 and my dream is to be there in 86 ! it's funny for you to see those image again :p

  • @boycieboy100 true

  • Happy Birthday Freddie!<3

  • grandissimo.....

  • No hate, no fight, just Queen

  • The problem I have with Queen is that I was raised listing to Queen music and I've watched all the video and live concerts and now I can't enjoy modern day bands because I'm can't help but compare them to Freddie and the boys which inevitable means the modern band ends up looking pretty poor.

For example I'm watching highlights of the V festival and sure there are loads of talented acts but I think back to Wembley 86 which by Queen standards was an average effort and I'm struggling to watch.

  • The best band of all time.

They are also the most intelligent band ever.

Brian May (Phd in Astro Physics), Roger Taylor (Biologist), John Deacon (Engineer) and Freddie (educated to become the most talented frontman/artist in history).

Perfect blend of the left and right brains... They prove you can be an artist and not have to be some crazy left wing nut.

I doubt we will ever see a band like this again.

Brian May MADE his guitars for this sound BTW. Listen to Deacon's bass lines... amazing!

  • love this gig!

  • thumbs up for fried chicken!

  • 10 people don't have the vision

  • I decided to be a singer and join a Rock band after watching this concert

  • The best entrance to a concert of all time.

  • Wow. Goosebumps...

  • Kurwa z waszymi jebanymi reklamami

  • Why do the Goddamn ads come on in the middle of the video?

  • They knew how to put on a show!!! Legends!

  • @76i86989789 He looks crazy? Well... he´s not. He is just the best ENTERTEINMENT that has ever lived

But the funny thing is that other rude people that don't look crazy, LIKE YOU, are the REAL CRAZY ONES that boder coming to this Queen Video just to insult someone that you never knew.

  • @76i86989789 considering, this video is over 20 years old. And its still attracting people like you to look at it, I would say he must have done a hellova good job making music.

  • I like their song, Radio Lady Gaga
