Ehpesians 1:3-14 records these; God the Father planned salvation, God the Son executed salvation and God the Holy Spirit seal salvation thus man's effort has no place in man's salvation. In fact, Jesus said at the cross before He bowed His head and die, "It is finished". Man's salvation thus is the work of God alone and man's effort can't add anything to it to be effective. The death/sacrifice if Christ is enough. His resurrection proves that God the Father (more on next post)

accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for an on behalf of all of mankind. Likewise, Matthew 11:28-30 says, the the yoke of Jesus is the easy alternative to get to heaven versus the law of do this and do that which is burdensome. thus, man needs not to strive on his own effort for his slavation but only to accept what Jesus has done at the cross (believe in the only one true gospel - the gospel of grace recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (see text on nest post)

"For I (Apostle Paul) delivered to you as of first importance what I also recieved that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS accordng to the scriptures, and that He was buried and that HE WAS RAISED ON THE THIRD DAY ..." the two parts of the one and only gosped (good news) are those in capital letters. And as to why the first part is a good news is that Christ died 'FOR" me and you...thus no need to strive on our own effort to be saved. And that His death applies to me if/when I/you (more on next post)

accept that the death and sacrifice even His blood is the payment for my/our sins. and that the second part which tells of His resurrection - remember that Jesus's death was a sacrifice to God for the sins of man. Without the resurrection, man/Christianity has not proof that salvation thru Christ alone is finished and adequate. In fact, the resurrection is that which differentiate christianity from all other alternatives to get to heaven. Christianity offers evidence/proof of its integrity.

oh my gosh that was...freaky...good, but brings back my memory of revelation in which it says during the rapture two men will be walking and speaking and instantly one will be gone. Apparently these people who were left were sinners who did not believe and were left on earth for satan. TRULY POWERFUL
