I agree with most people, Beanoland was a much better area than Wild Asia, it was jolly, colourful and fun, Wild Asia is good, but it's all grey, there's no humour or colour about it.
thats y if u watch dennis the menace now all the voices are different because in the real world beano land unfortunatley dont exisit anymore :( i love beano good bye gonna miss ya it brings back memories :'(
KidRelief is right its old its been there for 16 years and its time to go it was good but all good things have to come to an end. the rides were becoming obselete and in non working order for example. the water squrters did not work for about a month until they put a tempory water pump in the line its old and taty besides asias new and i aint been there yet gotta go and see it lool
Chessington Removed Beanoland as there Contract ended with them , Plus it was there chance to put something New in , as Beanoland was looking tatty and old , The New Area Wild Asia still looks alot like Beanoland , its just with a Jungle theme.
I think the problem with Beanoland is Chessington didnt update it enough like it never got repainted it was just left to decay over the years thats why it was looking tatty and old , and probably why Chessington removed it.
@ThePinkOracle not going to happen unfortunately, they're getting a Disko ride similar to "the Edge" at Paulton's Park - but Merlin own all three parks (Alton Towers, Thorpe and Chessington) Alton is family + thrill seeker, THORPE PARK = thrill seeker, Chessington they see as family. They don't see why they should get themselves to compete with themselves. I see what you mean though - Chessington used to be really well balanced with Samurai.
When there was that huge power cut, it started in Beanoland. Maybe it was taking revenge...

Wild Asia is just a redecorated Beanoland! They didn't even get rid of the buildings, just rebuilt and redesigned them!

This is a great opportunity for them to add an attraction with a competitive edge against TP and AT.
