@Overhazard Yeah, but i guess it comes down to a matter of opinion, the GC controller is easier but the wii mote is for more skilled players, when i first played the game i used the wiimote but everytime i ran into a wall id turn it and itd go backwards xD But i believe the wii mote is moar fun lol

@ShellRageVG Sounds like you didn't get the scheme quite right. It's not quite like a real steering wheel, but you still need to keep your movements subtle. I noticed a lot of people trying out Mario Kart Wii wind up using the Wii Wheel wrong.

although id oocasionally make exagerated turns, throwing the sensitivity off track, but its not hard to use, just that i prefer the GC controller better.

@xsimonlarsen You can use the Classic Controller, the Wii Remote when attached to a Nunchuk, or he Gamecube controller. Me, I prefer to use the WIi Wheel.

@jamalamack if you're talking about the golden mushroom it doesnt matter if he spams his boost because it goes out after a certin amount of time so if you press it 1 time or 100 times you will have the item as long either way after the first use...

Anyway, I wonder how much snaking really helps at DS Delfino. I snake there too during that long straightaway, but I'm still passed by wheelies.

Anyway, these races were pretty intense. It's a shame I couldn't make it. I'll be using the Booster Seat tomorrow if I'm able to race. By the looks of these races, I'm pretty positive I'll be pummelled. =P

Oh well, that's a risk I'm willing to take.

I think Wheelies were designed to be better than snaking anyway. The thing is that Super Mini-Turbos don't seem to be strong enough.

I as planning on using the Booster Seat, but I wanted to use (regular) Peach for some reason. I'll probably use the Booster Seat tomorrow, or if not, then Yoshi.

I believe that snaking is most viable with a high mini-turbo rating (which gets you more boost per mini-turbo). It's this reason (along with a good top speed rating and decent acceleration rating) why I tended to pick Baby Daisy with the Mini Beast in karts-only races.

Anyways, sorry that I couldn't attend Saturday's match, as I had to get 2 new front tires for my car.

Delfino square was pretty standard, the ending was epic and i luckily got to the line before you

i remember on one of your vids you said a golden shroom was more helpful then a bullet bill on shy guy beach and a golden shroom got me to 3rd :)

Daisy circuit was pretty standard
