Am totally in love with these films. Can honestly say their my favourite films ever, i own both and must say the special features on the second one are F***** awesome.
These are my 2 favorite movies on earth, im sure theyll stay there too, exactly how troy said this movie spread is how i saw it, i went out and boght it less than an hour later. hope they make another, hell they should make 4 more! keep it up guys.

It's funny, i found the first movie myself when i was actually looking to watch a romantic comedy lol, i chose The Boondock Saints instead, and then BAM I became another drooling boondock fan.
Was very sceptical about this, but i loved it. and julie benz is in it :) but the first hour of the film i was like, WHO is that guy and where is sean patrick flannery, i did'nt recognize him at all..

I would rather fuck AND be the chick who's talking here. The one in the movie acted like a ditsy redneck who only THOUGHT she knew it all. Very unappealing. This side of her is much nicer. :D

the way he explained how people get into boondocks is EXACTLY how it happened with me. I watched it and i made my sister watch it, and then i made my other sister watch it and i told my brother to watch it. I liked Romeo, but it felt like they tried to make him as epic as Rocco. Sadly they failed. First of all David Della Rocco is fuckin badass and second Romeo just came across as kind of a wuss.

And what about the investigators from the first one? They completley overacted their role when given more lines to read....Shit. Utter shit.

Rocco was awesome but you gotta admit, the dream in boondock 2 was awesome with rocco so they can no doubt incorporate him in a third movie as well just to keep his spirit alive. This is one of those movies where you call up a dozen friends and the trip to the theater becomes a huge group event...every friend that I showed the first movie to became an instant fan. We've all been waiting a long time for the sequel.

the people that review cult classics are people that think movies should follow a specific format and blah blah blah. Totally agree... i am the one who got my husband to watch it and he wasn't sure at first... he loved the cat scene but that was it but after seeing it again it became one of his faves... boondock 2 thankfully was much better than i had anticipated and duffy says he has ideas for boondock 3 but he is gonna ride this one out and see how fans respond.

@hilson16 Yeah man, it's genuinely good in my opinion. The guy that made it had a passion for what he was doing, not just dollar signs for eyes like the rest of hollywood. Ever thing nowadays is "made". This movie, the characters, the style, the attitude, was created. Sure, maybe some plot lines have been done before, and it's nothing completely original, but dammit it's good!

This is one of those movies where you call up a dozen friends and the trip to the theater becomes a huge group event...every friend that I showed the first movie to became an instant fan. We've all been waiting a long time for the sequel.

the people that review cult classics are people that think movies should follow a specific format and blah blah blah. They're closed minded and forget that movies should be enjoyable, not some rule following bore-fest that has to meet a certain criteria in order to be "good". Boondock saints is a guy's movie for bad asses. Fuck everybody else, you can suck our pathetic little dicks!

Totally agree... i am the one who got my husband to watch it and he wasn't sure at first... he loved the cat scene but that was it but after seeing it again it became one of his faves... boondock 2 thankfully was much better than i had anticipated and duffy says he has ideas for boondock 3 but he is gonna ride this one out and see how fans respond.

@hilson16 Yeah man, it's genuinely good in my opinion. The guy that made it had a passion for what he was doing, not just dollar signs for eyes like the rest of hollywood. Ever thing nowadays is "made". This movie, the characters, the style, the attitude, was created. Sure, maybe some plot lines have been done before, and it's nothing completely original, but dammit it's good!
