  • Thanks! U will love it, altho, I actually jst snt my guitar 2 get modified! I'm removin the humz and replacin it w/ a single TV jones powertron. Will only have a single vol & single tone - nothin else. Custom pickguard will cover the voids. My take on a Fendr La Cabronita Especial. That's a revers jag tho. it's also $5000, so I'm makin 1 like it, but usin my jag 4 just around $300. will post pics of it when it is done. In the meantime, been playin on my $100 squire. I feel your pain.

  • People can be a little touchy about the guitar sometimes, it's kinda funny. That was cool though!!! I'm gettin that guitar soon aswell after play on a two hundred dollar piece of crap for three years with an action designed to torture my fingers haha I'm so excited it's perfect for me, sounds great playing clean blues shit and also some mean hardcore stuff with those humbuckerz. Wooohooo

  • haha funny that you have to write: "haven't been playing for 4 years" to make you look better. But sry dude don't believe you... if you play the guitars and just have a little bit of skills which you obviously have they you can't stop playing for four years. AND if you haven't been for four years you wouldn't just go out there and get a fender jaguar...

  • @bloggyloggydog haha. well, yes, it is actually true I hadn't played in 4 years when I recorded that. father of 3 boys with little time to myself. Absolutely, one would buy themselves a new guitar if they had the desire. sometimes, you just need to give yourself a gift - I traded an older guitar in and sold another old one, so it didn't cost much. Thanks for the compliments tho. I've been back playing in my spare time so I should prob remove all those little pop up things.

  • damn it I love the blues!

  • @BatusaiJack Thanks!

  • im pissing myself in laughter. it is edited enough times coz u are off key and clearly ned practice but due, this is really funny in a good way. i aint cussing u!

  • @scarredcobra hahaha. It is actually done in a one take improv. I don't read music. the edits are just there to try and make it look more interesting, so I was cropping shots. My other blues vid is better - but, of course, I used some distortion and a wah. thanks for watchin!

  • woooow, dude way too many notes on the screen about how bad your playing is and crap. You played amazing im jealous! (:

  • Very cool!! Damn fine fine playing, great tones!!

  • Whats the chord being repeated i the background? Nice playing!!

  • Omg this could have been good with a little little bit overdrive :)

  • @tjalfedaugaard yeah, played it pretty clean with some reverb.

  • Reminds me of Led zeppelin 'Since ive been loving you'

  • @MrNirvanerd that's a huge compliment. thanks man

  • I noo, there is no whammy :*(

  • Very nice, at last someone on youtube who actually deserves a Jag...

  • @mjwoodworth Thanks! That means a lot.

  • NICE DUDE btw how much did u buy this guitar for?

  • @VinceIdk Not sure. At the time I traded in my jackson guitar towards the purchase so it came to around $300. My other vid is a little better with a decent background track. Thanks for the compliments!!!

  • Nice playing!

  • @vicn17 thanks! I approve all comments and hadn't gotten to check in a bit. Thanks so much.

  • i DID like it, man!

    nice playing!

  • i've got one, it's my favorite guitar

  • @nunopumpkin mine too! thanks!

  • is this american made?

  • @Walshie988 "crafted in japan" sticker on back, but still amazing. Just love this guitar.

  • Have you ever seen those new Blacktop Fenders?

How would those hold up against this beast?

  • @samhuinn1991 hmmm, don't know, but now i want to go and play one! It's a tele with the humbuckers right?

  • @sosahdproductions Yeah, it's a line of Strats, Teles and Jags with humbuckers. They're made in Mexico though, and considerably cheaper than your beauty ^.^

  • @samhuinn1991 thanks. Sure they play great. I still bang away on my first guitar - ultra cheap squire strat from 1981. Saving it for my kids and still dust it off to play. It has some quality issues, but i still love the sound. Let know if you pick one up and what you think. best, A

  • bro i have this guitar. so beautiful. you can honestly get any tone. twangy tele sound, or the deep bassy blues sound.

  • @PhillyProductions12 I agree. just a fantastic instrument! Thanks for viewing and posting.

  • influenced by gary moore?:p

  • would this guitar give a good surf tone? thanks

  • @MIMguy31 Totally!

  • @sosahdproductions ok thanks so much!!

  • at first when i got this guitar i wish i had gotten a different one....i was wrong.. the tonal variety is incredible with this guitar...i also admire the way u play i as i love to play the blues too..music is my escape at he end of the day..wow this is deep

  • Ive always wanted a fender jaguar.. i got a lonestar deluxe strat its my baby.. but i may have to get a part time job so i can get me one of these.. by the way your playings not that bad.. but the rythme part deffinetly needs some work..

  • @Stigolas thanks again. would love your critique of my other jag vid - fender jaguar HH blues. used a background track from my mac and played thru some FX for a harder sound.

  • As soon as ive got the money im buying one of these.

  • @Stigolas do it! best guitar I have ever owned. :)

  • sweet!!!!!!!!!

  • in love with the Jaguar HH!!

  • @larwhelan Me too! All hail the HH!

  • @sosahdproductions hehe I own it. AMAZING FREAKING GUITAR.

  • @sosahdproductions you play really well by ear you say you dont know how to read notes so thats impressive good job!!!

  • @zanes81 :o) Thanks!

  • Dude can u tell me the program you are using. That saves 1 melodie than u can play on it ?

  • @rckrmyko

ah, i just recorded myself on an 8 track and then played it through the same amp i was playing lead live on. hope that helps.

  • Really nice picking man... I have a Guitar just like yours in the video!!!

  • @thejakeludwig appreciate it!

  • Hey man I liked that! I agree with PhillyProductions12-- you got soul !

  • @orangehasrhymes Thanks!

  • Don't like the backing track and I don't think Buddy Whittington will be losing any sleep but it's interesting to hear someone playing blues on a jag. Not often you hear that. I don't think the guitar suits blues at all. Just out of interest were you self-taught? I'm no expert but i'm just guessing you were.

  • excellent playing love the guitar i have it myself!!! :p and sorry but u are seriously good!!!

  • your too hard on yourself. you got soul

  • @PhillyProductions12 Super nice comments man. Much appreciated!

  • You tore that up!

  • @putnamplaya That was so nice! Thanks.

  • this sounds awesome. Nice job. Are you sure you havent been playing for 4 years. Thats really impressive. I was wondering if these put out tones somehwat like a les paul because im looking for a cheaper alternative

  • This has a nice tone to it, but not really LP in my opinion. This is played through my mom's old amp with a clean tone with reverb cranked, if you view my other vid, you can hear it with crazy pedal effects. Since my ears are not really trained to differentiate tone like a pro, every half way decent guitar can be made to sound good. Thanks so much for your compliments. really shocked by all the nice responses to my playing. Best, Anthony

  • well, i play in a rock band, and we seem to think that we have sort of an 80's sound. Possibly like heavier hair metal. I have a les paul but im looking for something to keep down a half step. Would this be good for hard rock?

  • Nice!! Love the jag!

  • Great stuff, backing track get's a bit repetitive but other than that it was amazing!

  • Pull it out dude!

Get a little dirt on it.

Shake it off and slap it.

    LOL

    5/5

  • Hi, why thehell you didn' t play for 4 years? PS: you' r very talented, man!

  • yeah i meen, why not play in four years?

except having broken all your bones or something..

If i don't play for four days, i feel sick..heh!

    but you play just fine..

  • Thanks. I'm an artist - painting, illustration, and have been working on some movie and story ideas as well, so the guitar just got pushed aside for awhile.

I also stay home with my 3 kids, which is a full time job on its own. Does feel great to play again.

  • good playing man, i really liked it.
