I agree with your opinion, the movie sucked, I got stuck into watching the 2nd and gave it the benefit of the doubt and it sucked just as hard as the first one, then quite a bit of people said the 3rd was just like the 2nd in so many ways that it was unnecessary, now there's a 4th one coming out.

Anyway. I may be the odd man out, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I found it refreshing. The horror scene can be compared to the WWII FPS genre of video games. Filled with crap with insane amounts of clichés. The camera work was phenomenal. I truly thought this couple was real until the credits. The total of 4 actors, minimal CG scenes, and believable acting made it all the better. Check out JeremyJahns review.
