adelina's lutz is really suspicious like mao. outside edge but seems to change to inside edge in the edge.. lutz jump i don't really see people like yuna kim or joannie rochette's lutz. from our naked eye, we can see that it is a outside edge. most of the ladies just have slight outside edge or slight inside edge or deep inside edge
a so-called inside edge's 3 flip is very likely pre-rotated and wouldn't be held long enough before take off. The rule is strange and many of them needed to be changed in the future.
I dont see why there should be a deduction on the neutral edge on flip, its actually that a perfect flip should be done on a straight line (even as straight as possible) before the take up, its the technic to get the momentum in jumping up and rotating the flip jump. Dick Button has once mentioned that as well, she praised Yuna Kim's 3 flip in 2008 worlds, of entering the jump with stright line neither inside nor outside edge, he said thats a perfect flip.
@pug1gun yes. that is the jump that flip is supposed to be.. so far i know only that yuna kim and joannie jumps like that. slight inside edge with that mohawk turn. a very very slight edge is considered to be the best flip and the marks of the ice should show a straight line and not a turn. anyways, what elizaveta did was correct...
eliza have strong lutz, and flip sometimes if she lands it, she has a great coach, consequently it will be fixed, if she has neutral edge...(I saw inside edge, but this is my eye:)
adelina's lutz is not just suspicious...sometimes she starts from outside, but sometines strong inside...It remainds me young mao....she jump this lutz the same way....I hope adelina's coach will fix it! I really hope, I like both of these young ladies:)
@taylorlautnerS2 her edge goes neutral right before the take off, just for a very short period of time. since there's no longer attention call exists, neutral edge is considered as wrong edge.. stupid rule
@zykitta how can you be so sure? the edge of the flip at the takeoff looks pretty neutral to me tho (but only from this vid clip). there are many skaters who get "e" once in a while, even male skaters as well. that happens when skaters are tired, becoz 99% of skaters have preferred edge to skate on. it is very spacial thing for ladies skaters to takeoff on the right edge both for flip and lutz. btw her lutz is obvious outside edge. thats for sure, yes.
