but a cork is just a gainer 360 not a slant gainer. if slant/cheat or normal is not imprtant. its just kicking over like a gainer and spinning 360 degrees :D that most people spin like sideways is just happening :D so yes.. you did one :DD

huh...jeremy explains that the leg has to be quite high and constantly gestures with his hands to kick at around head height and then spin. But then when anis does it (amazing as usual) his leg doesn't go that high, only around half the height. See anis' kicking foot height at 0:42. But he says his leg should be at 0:58 BEFORE he spins....im confused....

@liljezta1 its a 540 degree of spin. you lift off, and you torque your body sorta back, you see the floor once, that is 180 of turn already. then you spin another 360 degrees where you land and see the floor again. thus 540

Just as done in this footage a cork is when your completely VERTICAL and twisting 900 degrees. Gainer fulls are more like back fulls executed off of one leg, meaning instead of being vertical, your legs go over and around the top and back to the ground.

A gainer full is when you move forward while doing the cork whereas a corkscrew is where you more or less land on the same spot.

I don't recommend learning this on a trampoline first because the J step will be kind of hard to do on a trampoline. So try it on a mat or like the plyometric floor in a gymnastics center. and stretching is always necessary before doing any tricking.

a cork is also a 360.

the difference is how you rotate in the air.

you know how a backflip looks like right? a backflip or gainer 360 you jump up and spin backwards the same time as you do a 360 spin with your body.

in cork you dont do a backflip, your body is kinda horizontal in the spin. thats the difference. im not american so my english isnt that good but i hope u understand what i mean..

it's a little more than 360 just a little because you're leaving the ground with your back facing it but only because if you did only spin once around you would end up facing your back to the floor.

its actually a "blind 720".

if you see a cork in superslowmo, you will se the performer actually have his face pointing at the spot he started at two times.(from airborne to landing).

ok, if you do your cork as a one legged backflip360, then its a 360. but as more vertical you are you have to have one more rotation instead of the straight flip.

you should have a little jump in it already if u do it with the j step. its actually a little hop. as anis goes for the j step there is a little hop and then he swings his right leg and pushes off with the left leg. hopes this helps you

I learned corkscrew in 45 minutes cuz of this tutorial, tough not yet perfect.

I had the same problem as you do after the first 30 minutes.

To land only on your feet there is but 1 thing to do:

Throw your weight back as soon as you land, and keep on trying till you get the hang of it =)
