Sadly, the Daemonhunters are only for skirmish. But they're pretty well balanced against the other factions.

The skirmish AI however affects the campaign alongside skirmishes, making battles more difficult than vanilla. Also (though minor) the Space Marines field Death Watch instead of Grey Knights.

Daemonhunters are pretty well balanced against the other DC factions. Note however that you cannot field Grey Knights until around T3 and you're limited to normal Inquisitorial troops until then (stormtroopers, bodyguard, servitors, chimera, etc).

Grey Knigts are awesome but expensive (especially in cap) and GK Terminators are AMAZING (but you can only build 1 unit). Also you can deepstrike stormtroopers, GKs, GK Terms, Dreads, and LAND RAIDER.

Yes they do. I took down most of a chaos army with a squad of terminators with a captain and a few squads of normal grey knights.

geh, if you play for GK thats fine by me but this mod DESTROYS AI, your fucked if your not SM chaos or necrons. Playing against the daemon hunters chaos AI basically put me on a crusade against all that is chaos. Oh and do put the daemonhunters as a computer ally they're brainless and although i do like a challenge i REALLY dont like playing as them honestly until you get the assault dreadnoughts out your fucked

question: i downloaded the mod at dawnofwar(.)filefront or whatever the site is called... i run the auto installer. after that, a icon appears on the desktop. when i start it the dawn of war I trailer starts and after that the loding screen. after a minute the window closes itself and im back on the desktop.

exaclty, the whole "faith is the shield against chaos" is pretty literal since the deamons need worship to exist and if you counter balance worship of something else (tau can do this too) it weakens them

The Emperors wish was never to exterminate and battle all other races as the Imperiums ideals is now, and most of all, he wanted warriors, and not fanatics. And the inquistion is by no doubt extreme facists. An example is that he started to dislike Emperor's children because they were fanatics about the Emperors existence. And the entire imperium now is extreme fanatics about his faith and actions...doing all wrong

I have to agree kinda with the fanatic part.

But it's not a false wish- the Emperor believe that the galaxy was mankind's rightful property, and this means that he w ould have wo war with other races to achive this.

I kinda agree. The Emperor wanted to protect huminaty, and fight those that resisted huminaty, but if possible, he would have wanted to live in peace with aliens. But the Imperium have forgotten that, and strive to exterminate all aliens completely, no matter of their stand point, as, if they arent even hostile. Take example of Tau, the Imperium discovered them, and was soon to exterminate them...because?...well, because they are xenos. But a warp storm erupted that sealed them off for 6000 year

Well i MAY be wrong but the The imperium have all the right reason exterminate the Tau. First, human in the Tau Empire form one of the lowest caste, often being nothing more than mine workers plus, they are under the rule of Xenos. Secondly, they use artificial inteligence which cause the downfall of mankind pre-emepror Era. Thirdly they worship some kind of psycher that would be probably branded as rogue psycher by the Emperium.

For the Inquisition basicly they just make sure that Mankind doesnt enter the same Pattern that almost brough the end of it. Sure they may seems fanatical and they are to some extend yet, they are the best there is when it comes to fight Chaos. They have their place in post Horus Heresy era. Not a Single Great knight has ever turn to chaos. I think that the attitude of the Emperium is mainly du to the Horus Heresy.Emperium doesnt trust the other Xenos ,with reason
