I think it's a toss-up between MetalSeadramon and Machinedramon, personally. On the one hand, WarGreymon tore MetalSeadramon up, literally, on the other, Machinedramon was still alive, despite being cut up. There's no way to honestly say who died the worse death. Not in my book, there isn't.

I liked Puppetmon's death because the fact his hands looked like a tombstone was pretty cool. Machinedramon was fucking sliced up...Metalseadramon..If you watch in a sub or a good dub, all those explosions are blood and its really quite gruesome. Piedmon just gets owned by the mad-rigged Magna Angemon.

Wargreymon is a Dra-Mon destroyer, meaning his claws are effective against metalseadramon and machinedramon. Thats why he defeated those two so easily, but had trouble with the other two. BUT you are forgetting that Machinedramon did NOT die. He, according to the early games(which are canon) that he would become Milleniummon, setting the stage for season 2. You see Milleniummon briefly in season 2 when Ken has a nightmare.
