  • What a tasteful slow burner, thank you Mr. Jimmie Vaughan for your great music.

  • YeS, yES, YES!!! i'm new to the game, but i just fell in like a muthafuckin Wedge! He is Pickin that bastard!!

  • this is blues at its best, i mean i like SRV better he is my idol but he took blues to a new level, but that wouldnt of happned if it wasnt for this guy fantastic guitar player and great inspiration.

  • tarantino soudtrax are the best. jimmie can play the blues right. respect to both of them.

  • me love the that talking guitar

  • loooooooooooove that soooooooooooooong .. XD

  • " what's in Mexico ?".......... " Mexicans."

  • uhauhauhauhauhauhauha

    remember that sentence..

  • @jembrannan Correcto compadre ! en Mexico habemos mexicanos ! y tequila ! \m/

  • i always fought that the camper's music was red house from jimi hendirx but i was totally wrong! that's the right one!

  • Smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth.

  • absolutely luv this!!

i <3 the movie 2....always will be my favorite!!!

  • Ahhh, sweet sweet Blues. This is the future!! Go JLV.

  • Up there with the best slow blues ever recorded.

  • truly is the best type of music all time, practicaly all of the music these days has no soul this is jam packed full of the shit ! go jimmie !

  • Now that's what the fuck i'm talking about baby....

  • it was played when they were in the camper when quinton teritino or how ever you spell it was talking to the chick asking her if she wanted him to do what she said.. right before they got to the border.

  • When was this played in the movie?? I'm not really sure...

  • its played when there in the van and quintentarentino (however you spell his name!), is looking at the girl in the van when there driving to mexico.

  • Thanks!

  • SRV, Clapton, Jimmy Page, some of the best blues. Still my fav is by far SRV there is a depth and soul that is untouched. You can feel it in every note.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but this song is both written and performed by Jimmie Vaughan, no?

    He's SRV's older brother.

  • Robben Ford??? You forgot to mention him ;)

  • The sorta tune you wanna show your missus how much you love her to ;) :P , this is some pure soul man !

  • This sounds like Texas Flood and Red House

  • his guitar playin and tone sound really really similar to mr bb king

  • where can you get the tabs:D:D:D

  • Jimmie is and always been the real deal. And Quentin Tarantino is a master at putting the right cool songs into his films, in the same league as Scorsese.

  • @hinamauka yeah u right.....that;s some mighy fine guitarin' !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jimmie Vaughn is a master and this shows why!!!!

  • Man im from texas and you always here t-bone walker, janis joplin, and johnny guitar watson, but jimmy vaughn is know slouch. Usually white boys play blues numbers fast and 'heavy' metal like, but this shit is as close that I have seen a white person playing the blues pure: slow, burning, and taking no prisoners.

This is going on my ipod today!!!!

  • Stevie, and Johnny Winter, and Eric Clapton. Hm....not really Heavy Metal like and trying to be fast. I guess you havent heard of them. If this is the first "white" "real" blues youve heard, give these guys a listen.

  • i agree wtf is that guy on about "no white blues players are good" im sorry thats bullshit ur right mate he hasent heard SRV , Jimmy page , clapton, david gilmour , jeff beck, peter green, keith richards.

  • If you are replied about my comment. I didnt say "white" boys couldnt play. Im just said that usually they play high octane and way faster than normal thats all my brother.

PS: I am huge fan of the first four guitar player you mentioned. Hey if you got you got it. Later MATE!!!

  • ok mate no problem long live the blues!! its all love here lol

  • Lol, you think Keith Richards is a good blues player?

I guess that shows why you don't get his comment xD

  • fuck off

  • you know i normally listen to extreme metal, but how can you not like this, its awesome \m/

  • 4:20 - 4:24

    "wait a minute, something's wrong" x2

    Hendrix

  • jimmy u gotta love him

  • hell ya

  • i always get the shivers from this

    dengue woman...

  • my dad like this i want to learn this i want to play for him does anybody know where i can get the tabs reply if you know or just comment on my proflie thing or something

  • i see a lot of arguing going on in the comments below, this is basically a pretty ordinary slow 12 bar blues, the guitar work is adequate but nothing special, vocal not bad. best blues ever is Since Ive Been Loving You by Led Zeppelin, dont believe me then check it out and youll see why

  • Knock out. JLV sounding as close to the bone as only he knows how. eamonosu, It could be argued with not a little validity that the LZ track you've quoted is not a blues at all......but then I would be being as prosaic as you wouldnt I.

  • thats the best guitar i ever heard

  • piss funny lyrics too

  • Just cant deny it..Jimmie has a great sound thats ALL his own.Any track that he plays on, he is instantly reqegnizeable.Fantastic style.Dont care what anybody says...He is just as good as his brother was,in his own way & thats what its all about.

  • ive not hear stevie do any songs better than this yet , this is pure class,

  • Hot summer at the beach, Selma look alike by your side, 6 cold ones, some fire water to wash them down, and some blues in the music box. Does life get any simpler or better than that?.

  • totally agree

  • thats my heaven brother

  • cheers to that, man!

  • LOL! Perfect.

  • Este som é maravilhoso. Amei . A trilha sonora deste filme e muito boa.. valea pena ouvir

  • Now thats just too tight right there, good music....

  • that's when Richie looks the girl.. soooo hot!

  • **FABULOUS**

  • jimmie rocks this song

  • cool blues...jimmies style to play is special...>;o)

  • Lik dis song, lik dis movie !!

  • Keep in mind this is the guy who SRV respected the most; His older brother. Respect to Jimmie.

  • blues at its best...love the fuck out of this song

  • I've always thought Jimmie had a much better voice than his bro

  • what is these song type ?

  • don't need tabs for what Jimmie plays. Penatonic all the way!!

  • screamintoface- it'sBlues!!!!

  • yeah, even better with a spliff in your hand...

  • fuck this is good shit man

  • yeah true , i was searcinhg for this kind of music for a whiel , didn't found anything on that style , could you give a direction pleas?

  • I love this blues..

  • "Did you mean what you said back there?"

  • If anyone has the tablature for this id appreciate it!!!!

    Beautiful song.

  • Yeah me too. I've searched the net for hours and havent been able to find any tabs for this at all.

  • Did you found any tabs? :(

  • Not yet but I will keep looking

  • The whole thing is downtuned half a step, and goes between E and D. Really not much more to it, solo overtop with a pentatonic scale shape and it'll sound gravy. Good luck

  • i cant find any tabs for this either, been searching for hours and hours.

guitar and bass tabs appreciated plz :)

plz let me know if anyone finds any thanks

  • Find it on your own ...

You don't need tab to play the blues, it comes from inside of you !!!

  • The soundtrack to this movie was perfect, i didn't know SRV or Jimmy before this movie now i got most of their cds. The movie was great, the music, perfect!

  • Man This Is A good song we need more modern artist that play the blues although i still love the old blues always

  • Jimmie Sounds much more like BB king...and Stevie sounded much more like Albert King...anyone else agree?

  • yeah, i'll go along with that. once when i saw Jimmie in Austin, he opened with a killer slow blues, and when he finished he talked about copying BB King records, 'the beginning, the middle, and the end.' he also said Johnny Guitar Watson is a big influence, which is evident in his more recent 'capo style' playing with his fingers. he's such a deep, deep player in every sense.

  • Hence, both are kings ;-)

  • SRV was influenced by his brother but left him in the dust. SRV lives forever.

  • Stevie was much more spectacular, he became a legend. Jimmie was more "traditional", not so famous like his brother...but he has nothing to envy from his younger brother, he's one of the few "new" guitarists really capable of playing THE blues. Not awful rock-blues in the style of Bonamassa, Gary Moore or shit like that...I just hate that

  • ok i am i fan of the blues, but if u think gary moore and banamassa are shit then u need to listen to some of there stuff properly. its a different style of blues but i no way shit.

  • I know all of them pretty well, and in my opinion they're awful. Horrible pastiche of blues-rock clichè in shitty sounds (not Bonamassa though, he's got a wonderful tone sometimes). But if you like THE blues you could understand my point of view.

  • I do like the blues, i was brought up on rock, then i heared hendrix playing red house. i like all the old blues aswell tbone walker, sonny boy, howling wolf. . . .

but if you ever get the chance to see bonamassa live or gary moore and you listen to them really play, and look at them when they play you feel everything they do. the blues doesnt have to be technical its about feeling but if u understand what your playing thats a sweet sweet thing.

  • "the blues doesnt have to be technical its about feeling but if u understand what your playing thats a sweet sweet thing. "

That's exactly why I hate Bonamassa and Moore.

  • I mean, they're all the contrary in my opinion.

  • yea red house changed my perception of music forever, blues is where all the feeling is at. my fav zeppelin songs went from "kashmir" and "stairway" to "since ive been loving you" and "cant quit you baby". its really a beautiful thing, the improvisation in even the simplest blues song, be it 12 bar or watever. SRV and his brother were great at this, personally i prefer stevie. Just look up the live "texas food" vid on youtube (the extended version). truly one of the great guitarists of all time.

  • thanks for explaining my feelin bout this in words!

  • im a dancer and i dance 2 this song when im on the stage !!! always gets a great reaction...quality tune!!!

  • Goddamn!!! Sweet

  • delicousssss...

  • Dont ya hate it when folk compare Jimmie and Stevie

  • yep, it's dopey as hell.

  • awsome song and artist

  • Jimmy is definetly not stevie, but he is definetly the founder of West Coast Blues for sure.

  • zajebisty film, zajebista muzyka

  • THIS IS REAL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • such a cool fucking song

  • My most listened-to track on this soundtrack. Jimmie's best IMO too :)

  • jimmy vaughan is good but will never as good as stevie ray vaughan but the brothers are great thou

  • THIS! What u need to listen, not the f**king Rap...

  • pure blues with true lyrics...jimmies style is unmistakably....i love it...>;o)

  • não entendi porra nenhuma que os caras escreveram... mas, concordo com eles, o som é d+

  • Jimmie's "Flamenco Dancer" is just as incredbile as this song.

    Favorited.

  • Jimmy, your brother smiled when he heard this!

  • GREAT song from a great soundtrack.

  • actually I never heard jimmy vaughn performing alone I always hated his guitar playing very far behind his brother srv but I have to admit that on this track he surprised me great blues.

  • Easily one of my all-time favorite songs.

  • this is the greatest thing ive ever heard from this jimmie vaughn

  • this song is indescribable...

    wonderful

  • totally agree, one of the best jimmie songs EVER...what a legend.

  • Yeah, Jimmie!

  • I love it!!

  • Maybe the best Jimmie song...

  • i'm so glad to hear someone else say that, i think so too, one of the few best slow blues guitar pieces ever recorded by anyone.
