@jerrys96lt4 ahahaha dude cmon r u serious? in my opinion john rips buddy apart. His tone, vibrato, and incredible expressiveness is unparalleled. Less is more is good for the versus and for slowing stuff down but what about when you're soloing? music is all about the pull and release of tension and without it it goes nowhere. John is an incredible blues player. a dick yes who takes himself too seriously but never the less....

@Ragz25T mate im with you 100%. I don't doubt that John Mayer is the greatest blues player of all time. I was merely remarking on the fact that he's a little bit.. well.. smug.
He's very intelligent and if i was to put myself modestly in that group then i could say i understand why hes like that. He's very philosophical and likes to use metaphors and generally make it known that he's smart. It's his only flaw in my opinion. Tries to be really modest and in the process comes off brash.
