Kuala Lumpur is not perfect, but so is every city. There's good and bad in every city. But KL has more good than bad. Just focus on the good and you will enjoy your stay.

Don't worry if you don't speak malay, 'MOST CITIZEN' in our country can speak english really well (with less annoying accent or funny tone) well.. you just need to find the right person

I'm NOT Malaysian. I travel & relocate a lot. So, listen up: Malaysia is the most beautiful country in the world. I grew up in HK 20 years. Tokyo 10 years, California: 10 years. India 10 years. (yes, lol, I'm 50!) And I have lived in Europe & other parts of the world for a sizeable amount of time.

Malaysia has got to be the most beautiful place on earth! Those of you complaining about Malaysia (you know who you are lol!) Minorities, stop having a chip on your shoulders! Be happy & productive!

@th43026 i`m a malaysian, even i don`t want to take the taxi..that is how bad the taxi is, okay that is just too exaggerated, but if i tell you, it could become a racist comment, so i better not, you need to experience it your self. well, enjoy.

@fufsayd I am not Malaysian. My sister is terrified of the taxi. But let me tell you, you will ONLY appreciate Malaysia if you have lived & travelled extensively. THE TAXIS ARE SAFE, relatively clean and the drivers are friendly. The Chinese driver talks to himself. The Indian driver talks too much. The Malay driver is polite. The Mamak driver is quiet. In all, they are all helpful, friendly, and take us staight to the destination. AVOID the BLUE taxis though. For Tourist aka EXPENSIVE.
