I'm still a bit confused on the owl since he didn't say much but maybe that's the point, the girl to early in her journey to understand what he would have shown her, all she know is what ever he said was wise

What does it mean? I think the animals represent people Jane had met in her life. Notice how both the deer and the owl say "I am" but the fox told the girl to something, to run away and hide, it said nothing about itself. So the owl and deer are the teachers and the fox was someone who deceived the girl some where in her life. The best part is the deer who brought on the final teachings. Making the girl grow up, thus the symbol of her hair tied back at the end. I'm still a bit confused on the o

@MickyBunrs Wow i saw this in a very different way then you. Like the dear is the thing the fox was warning the child about. The reason i believe this is the stone the owl gave to her keep an eye on it when she is hugging the dear, and then look at it as she is leaving the woods. Its Like the dear took her body or her childhood. That what i saw.

I jumped out of my skin when the sun came out as she hugged the deer. Brilliaint story, you took the lyrics and followed them but also used your own imagination to make it very interesting. I'm going to look into this artist!

really loved that she was wearing the deer's scarf at the end. The character walked with older confidence out of the forest, and then panning up to her hair tied back - as if facing with courage whatever comes. Fantastic emotional payoff for the my (the audience) emotional investment in the story - 5 stars!!

I believe it's the story of how someone grew up. The woods is a metaphor of the real world. She met a wise person who gave her some advice, a wild person who she followed into hardships, and a motherly figure who healed her wounds and completed her. She awoke to find that time passes quickly to those who are truly grown up.
