@TenHanger Yea I know my 1st few videos were horrible and the deer ended up eating the grafts off the plants. My new videos are just bad which is an improvement over this one.
@ArboriusOwns Deer are very hard on my small american chestnuts, I have to keep vented tubes on them or fencing. If not, there will not be a leaf left. Are those pure american chestnuts?
Back in my gardening days, I used to think about trying that, but it sounded too difficult or tedious at the time. I had a BIG garden! LOL. Good luck. ThXs for sharing!

How did the grafts take? Most people use dormant wood and graft in spring unles they bud graft in summer.
