I'm a man, and this song always hit me hard. Whatever Sinead intended when she wrote it, I didn't feel it as exclusively "the woman's perspective" versus the man's. It's one of the best rock songs about the end of a love/marriage/whatever. Let's face it: the end of a love always hurts, whether you're a man or a woman. I first heard this soon after I got dumped by a girl I loved. I played it endlessly for weeks.Now happily married, I still find the song incredibly powerful.

I feel a deep cut in Sinead's heart with this SAD song..I feel for her no matter how long it's been. No person needs what was taken from her..and I'm a Man. I would search the World over to find a Woman with her Spirit and Absolute Beauty! She deserves SO much more as do all who have gone through what this WOMAN has! Love you Sinead! Keep your head up!

This is the most passionate version of this song I've ever seen or heard. She performed it almost exactly like this on SNL one time. I caught that appearance on VHS and kept it for years. So glad to see it again here. It's now on my favorites list.

The raw emotions she is sharing with us is unbelievable..the anger, pain and sorrow in her voice is amazing..this song was payback..big time..and a kind of therapy for her..not many people get such a chance to hit back like that..good on her!!!

This is my most favorite version of this song. Sinead was singing frantically and really expressed the deepest kind of broken feeling. Aweful!!! I hope I can sing like her, I mean singing frantically, wreak out. Great performance!!!
