Hi just a little input to help. With only 4 poles (magnet faces) you will probably need to spin this extremely fast for a magnetic flux to build in the armature. At lower speeds it will just not do anything other than like 2-4 Volts. Try hooking it up to something other than a drill, direct drive from a dc motor perhaps?
Nice work. I am working on a brushless motor too, but when i saw this motor i think i will go for something like this insted. Now i just have to find out where i can find one!!? and how?
if u want to get power out of a brushless moter u haveto have a regen controler or brushed moter & diode or speed controler.

Try using a rectifier and you might get some volts
