Vidic is an incredible footballer. He's not only the best defender in the world, he has fantastic control of the ball. I've never seen him lose the ball for United. He is incredibly underrated, because he is up there with Messi and Ronaldo, it's only because people don't recognise the fact that defenders are comparable to midfielders and strikers since every mistake you make is blown out of proportion when you're a defender.
