The guy wasn't a jumper. He was clearly trying to scale down the outside of the building on a cable/rope to get into a floor beneath to escape the smoke/fire. At 1:43 his foot slips and he loses his grip on the rope, then falls. He lets his body go limp because he probably was accepting that he was about to die. Brave but so sad.

@ToXIcDRoiD Wrong kid. Reaching terminal velocity does NOT cause a blackout. if the WTC jumpers were for some reason unconscious during their fall it would have been due to smoke inhalation. These poor souls endured the full ~10 seconds of their fall full alive and conscious otherwise. I'd hate to base jump, skydive, or bungee jump alongside those who suffer from these 20 story blackouts you allude to. The Twin Towers were around 1,400 ft tall, not 35,000 feet like cruising altitude.

@TheJyoung87 I remember when I saw a person jumping on 9/11 for the first time...I was maybe 50-100m back from tower 1 and a group of us were looking up and someone was like "the building is falling apart, bits are coming off" and some guy was filming it and when he watched the replay of the video he realised it was a person and then they just kept coming....I was young (15) and at my dads work, a few blocks away that day....
