u could wear a bonnet or scarf & then in the a.m spray it w.a lil water and fluff the curls back up

I currently use this method but I have a lot more hair and I can never get more than a day out of it. My hair stays wet for about 12 hours, sometimes longer. Once I sleep on it, it's a matted mess and I have to rinse and start over. I also use the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Gel with Aloe (clear gel). I've heard some prefer the Olive Oil version (green) but it made my scalp itch. Good video!

u should get a hooded dryer if u have alot of hair because it will take too long to air dry, is ur really matted together, like unable to get ur fingers through it? or just clumped together? if it's just clumped together trying spritzing it with a water & conditioner mix and finger through ur curls, or u can always put ur hair in big twist at night and take it out in the a.m

I know I shouldn't have used the term matted but it is flattened down completely. I can pull it loose but haven't found a way to reactivate that works for me. I'll try the water and conditioner mix.

Right now my hair is only 4 inches long and I am able to braid or twist it but I have fibromyalgia so it's really painful on my hands and shoulders so it's not an option.

you can do a quick rinse and shake in the shower (then towel wrap a few minutes)

thats what i do bc i have a lot of hair too and just spritzg is usually not enough to "reactivate"

i also have a neuro issue in my hands/shoulder so all that braidg/twistg - i understand the pain :)

Cute! I use the same technique, I use the IC gel in the green container. I agree, it looks good when it is about 2 days old.
