This is Burford's oldest remaining church, established in 1836, this building was constructed in 1843 as a plank building and later completed in 1851 with red brick. Originally the Episcopal (Anglican)Church shared accommodations with the Congregationalists and the Methodists after the Congrgational Church was constructed in 1839 (a block south from this site). In 1841-43 the Anglicans met in a two room "Sabbath School" building located directly across the road from this. Thanx 4 posting!
