@lovenow It makes me think of times I've spent too much time alone in a small apartment imagining I had someone to talk to. Paranoia, crazy obsessiveness, eating in a fast uncivilized way. It's only accessible, as with most of the Ackerman films I've seen, if you are willing to enter the dream-crazy space she presents. It's always awkward; always uncomfortable. The later work is similar if not the same.
