I gotta love the grade, been to Montreal, but didn't see much except a portion of a Montreal Route entering the city from the Southeast [can't remember the name]...
Great video, except you won't see a Canadian flag anywhere in Quebec, only on a federal govt building. The rest of North America has nothing on Quebec drivers either. As far as crazy driving is concerned.
@twilightrocks56789: Interesting freeways, indeed, but man, they do a horrific job at maintenance on some of them; especially around Montreal! (they seemed to be addressing the maintenance shortfall, when I was there this summer).
I do have about 20 videos from Quebec laying around on my back up hard drives; just a matter of finally putting them together.
I'll eventually have many more videos from the Province of Quebec. Glad you enjoyed this one; it's actually one of my favorite videos, 'cause of the Pierre Laponte Bridge.
hmmmmm, i remember this highway , i found it scary to drive on the merge lanes were to short and the signs weren't placed right. And the pavement looks the same LOL and this was in 2005.
Well, very nice! Hopefully you've got more Quebec up your sleeve. I love driving in Quebec, despite their roads being among the worst in Canada as far as maintenance goes.
Yeah, I have about 20 videos more from Quebec. I'm not sure how many more I'm going to actually work on, although the next one will certainly be A-20 to A-720 thru Montreal.
It looks a lot like a motorway in one of the Western European countries..

I've always loved the more European layout of Canadian freeways.

@wimpie25 : Where do you see the layout are more European ?
Franks4488 1 year ago
@wimpie25
Proper consequent road markings, long en wel marked exit and on-lanes. Better road surfaces, more modern and European style light fixtures....

@wimpie25 living in BC, Canada, I've always found Canadian highways to be more alike to US freeways than European ones. just saying

@adrianroam95
Yes, they look very northern American. But they have a huge European feel to them compared to American freeways.

Route 175 shouldn't be called QC 175 or Quebec 175.

Should have used some French music to add to the effect.

In 8th grade I went on a trip to Quebec City and passed on this highway.

It's actually called the Pierre Laporte bridge. Quebec politician murdered by FLQ separatist terrorists in 1970.

Finally I've seen a video of a autoroute in Quebec. I've saw lots of flyover ramps during the video, is it common across Quebec?

Excellent, enjoyed the ride very much, good soundtrack too.
I saw more Mast Lighting Towers in this video than there are in the whole Metro Atlanta area, love it.

Loved the "metric-speak" in this video.
Brilliant video. I've added it to my favorites.
