Why do people compare Battlefield and Call of Duty so much? They're complete opposites. Same genre, but a completely different tone and purpose. Call of Duty is like an arcade game, and there's nothing wrong with that. Run 'n gun games are an assload of fun, and most of us grew up playing them. Battlefield is a serious, tactical war game, and a very good one at that. They shouldn't even be put in the same league, as they both serve completely different purposes.

After a while, the gameplay does get REALLY boring, but it's really exiting and feels so fast-paced and fun when you first start.
