i need some help. how do you add scenery in rct3? or at least, scenery like this? and how do you make a custom building to look like this, or the scenery in the queue? Also, how did you download the warp tunnel and stars and such? help please! i am good at rct3 but i just need to know how to make indoor rides. please respond

i have kinda a dumb question. I have dowloaded some custom structures online. I unzip the files and save them in the rct/parks file in my documents. They are there as save game files when i pull up rct3. However, when i open the parkwith the custom structures in sandbox, the map is just blank without the custom structure. However i do have all scenery packs need to form the custom structures...do u know why this is happening

Instead of putting the custom structures in your documents/parks file, put them in documents/structure. if that file isn't there, look in program files/atari/roller coaster tycoon 3.

You can try loading it anyway. The rollercoaster may not load, but you can get the Space Mountain scenery in the file.

I would have built it with another type of rollercoaster, but the types of turns, dips, diagonal braking, etc. is only available with the extended rollercoaster, so I unfortunately can't do that.

It's because the rollercoaster type I used to build Space Mountain with is the extended rollercoaster, which is only available in the Wild! pack or the Platinum pack.

You can get the CS sets from the site in the description. To put these CS sets on your RCT3, you should enter the zip file (usually these downloads are in zip files) drag the file into C:\Program Files\Atari\Styles\Themed (or it might be Themed\Styles) and just drag and drop it there.

You build a roller coaster, and use scenery like walls and ceilings and surround the roller coaster. You can use the scenery sets that come with the game or CS sets.

You mean the Space Mountain Dome ceiling? Hold shift and move you mouse up and down to raise or lower a roof.

You can't add custom music to the ride. I just used Movie Maker, in which you can add a music track to a video you made. However, you can play custom music at the coaster station by putting your music in C:\Program Files\Atari\RCT3\Music and then by messing with the coaster settings, you can make your song play in the station.

you can also do this with loudspeakers but you need the soaked or wild expansion.

Sorry, I wouldn't know what to do. You should be able to just open the link, type the 3 letters, and download the file. If you have a Mac, this might be the reason, but if you have a PC, I couldn't help you, sorry.

Yes, i put my rollercoaster inside the Space Mountain dome, part of the cs set from Mattatt14. I got the space mountain theme track from another video on youtube (i can't remember which one). Look up "VF Radio" on google and theres a site with tons of Disneyland music on it. On the ride itself in RCT3, there is no music. It's just added on in a video editing program.

I know what the roller coaster looks like. I made the ride almost 100% accurate to the real thing. Also, in RCT3, you can create many types of roller coasters, small rides such as ferris wheels, carousels, etc. If you get the Wet! Expansion Pack, you can make water slides and pools. With the Wild! Expansion Pack, you can make zoos and animals. It is a really fun game because you can also download CS sets and other items, plus in the game, you can obviously ride first person in the ride u create.

I use a program Fraps to record my gameplay. Then I enter the name "Jonny Watts" to a guest approaching the queue. Entering this name will enter you into PeepCam (seeing in the eyes of a guest), Thus recording it into the guest's eyes.

I use the program Fraps. Search it on Google. Open the program and then open RCT3. You should see the frame rate in yellow in the corner of the screen. When you're "riding a ride", press F9 and the yellow numbers will turn red, which means it's recording. press F9 again and they'll turn yellow again. The videos will save to C:\Fraps

One of the icons on the side of the screen when your playing is a little picture of a floppy disc and a wrench. click that and then click the icon of the wrench and hammer. a window should pop open about the game settings. on the top-right of the game settings box, there are four icons: a key on a keyboard, a wrench, a camera, and an eye. click on the eye. there, you can choose advanced settings.

choose "custom" and now you have a huge variety of settings to change. one of them is shadows. just choose "none" and you are set.

Try going into one of your own parks, go into the options and turn off shadows. This for some reason seems to be a problem. Then load my park and it should work.

It's not a notepad file, it's a .DAT file, which are the files that are used for RCT3 game saves. Put the .DAT file in My Documents/RCT3/Parks, then open RCT3 and you'll see the file "Real SM" or "Space Mountain" that you can open by loading the parks. If you have Wild! and the custom scenery included in the description, it will load.

That's because I turned the brightness almost all the way down so the supports wouldn't show. To make a SM recreation, the number one thing is to have no supports showing and star brightness second, at least that's how I feel.

The supports that I used for the ride were custom scenery, falling into the scenery/ride catagory. There is a setting to make scenery and rides to be non-visable, however, this also makes the star walls and floors to be non-visable too. There is a setting to turn off ride supports, but ride supports is like 1% of all the total supports I used, so to put it in a nutshell, no, unless you want to remove the rest of the scenery.
