Maxie Dunham is a great man of God and a personal friend. I think it is wrong to make fun of someone for their sincere beliefs. Regardless of how you feel about the issue, this is not necessary. Grow up.
I've used Maxie Dunnam's "The Workbook of Living Prayer" in an MCC congregation-that would be a congregation of queers, by the way. It's a classic and a great gift he has given us all. But he is also the reason I'll never go back to the United Methodist church. I'll stick with the church that loves Jesus AND all of God's Queer children as well.

maxie is a great person for our church (yet i disagree with his alarmist message) but i am sure he, his cohorts, and you commentors who are outraged did not imagine that someone might mashup one of these amendment opinion videos. its part of the culture of youtube, you put yourself out there and this is what can happen
Who ever created this is a complete moron, this is an insult to a great man who I am proud to call my friend. But I agree this is a typical response by the left who can do nothing more than make fun of people cause they have no legitimate defense of their argument.

As always I am amused by the unintended irony provided by my conservative sisters and brothers for whom I hold high regard and concern.
Generalizations and calling names in a post where you decry calling names seems like an excellent way to remove credibility.
