I know it's hard to believe, but my fave couple is Tonks/Lupin. I mean, you don't see a woman like Tonks everyday, who leaves her one-month old son to go fight beside her husband and die hand in hand. And you hardly ever meet a man like Lupin, who would give up on his happiness to protect his wife from him being a werewolf. They've always been my faves becasue they're one of those couragous couple there people don't give enough importance to. Long live Teddy, ypu have amazing parents!!

This is remarkable! When I saw PoA the first time, I wondered if there wasn't a gay discrimination message in Lupin's 'people like me' comment. Now we know, there was!

Personally, I think Thewlis could have still played him as gay throughout, for all the reluctance Lupin exhibits to getting married at all. It would make the character's actions make all kinds of sense then. Better to just be thought of as a werewolf than a gay werewolf.

I hope JKR agrees and makes it canon.
