Im really interested in buying one of these guitars but my only concern is that I want to play one before I make my final decision. There aren't any stores close to me so I think the only way to preview one firsthand is for me to order one to be shipped to me. So I was wondering what is the return policy on one of these awesome guitars?
you should fix that jack plays with that guitar, because he doesn't he has an original res-o-glas Valco Airline model before stupid Eastwood switched to wooden bodies.
I really appreciate the way you filmed this because whenever I visit a guitar store I always like to shove my whole face up into the guitar with my nose rubbing against the strings. It's the only way to tell a quality instrument.
Does anyone have or has anyone heard of an Eastwood Savannah??? Im htinking about buying one but i really dont know if i should :s how's the sound? i know it's a beautiful guitar, but i havnt gotten a chance to play it, PLEASE reply, i wiould love to know :D
Sorry- no Dallas store in the remote future but I'll give you the best pricing and be glad to ship any Eastwood to you for $29 with no tax. Mark rules!
Thanks for such a thorough overview of Eastwood axes. When will you open a store in the Dallas area? : ) really unique and great guitars. Who else would put out a Mark Farner model, that's great : ) !
Jack records & has toured witht he orignal plastic ones, but stage and road life make these very ahrd to maintain and keep in tune. The Airline reissues resolve the tuning and stability issues and that's why he picked those up.
Nice tour and clear video. Love the Map's reflection in the guitar mentioned before it.
One question:
At the end it sounds like you're saying the white guitar (or should I say White guitar) is a better body than the plastic originals, which is why Jack plays the new ones. But isn't it the other way around? Doesn't he play the old plastic one?
Almost every Eastwood vid has crazy arguments about these details in the comments. Trying to sort everything out before buying.

i have the seafoam green airline guitar and love it to death not only does it look cool it has an amazing sound

I second that, I have one to, standard pickups, but it really has some grunt. Sustain is unreal due to the semihollow body.

I have never played an Eastwood before. I had heard that they have a "Plastic", or toy feeling neck. Is that true?
myway43 3 years ago
what??? Rubbish, You need to play one. the paint job is thick, two pac or something. I have the airline map and the neck is beastly and thick.
