Sarah Palin is well known for cutting funds for special needs children. She doesn't care about us but herself. She just wants votes.

I buy groceries and items just like everyone else, and when I do, I pay taxes on them just like everyone else. When I buy these items they are things that other people produce and can those foods and manufacture those items, which provides work and a means of employment for people.

If you are a parent of a down syndrome child at least you will know what SOME of us, who are being honest, think of special needs kiddies. Any parent who learns early into a pregnancy that their brewing child has downs syndrome and continues the pregnancy until full term is stupid! Abortion is legal you know. I'm not much for down syndrome people because I have had experiences regarding their mannerisms especially with their vocalizations and drooling. I have been out at nice restaurants where parents brought their special needs kidies with them and literally spoiled our meal with their grunts and spluuuuuuuuaaaahh's while their parents tried to feed them. Think about it!

Parents who spawn special olympics downs syndrome offspring should be 100% financially responsible for everything relating to their special needs childred from birth to death. With today's technology, a test of the amniotic fluid can be done to determine if the brewing child will be a downs syndrome baby. Parents can then decide to terminate the pregnancy via abortion. Why should taxpayers foot the bill for these children? You breed 'em, you feed 'em!

NadezhdaRozagy1, I am not a very religious person although I am a confirmed Episcopalian. We have enough diversity amongst the "normal healthy child" population as it is; matter of fact, we are grossly overpopulated in this country if you care to check it out. "Special needs people" need "special care" for the duration of their lives - very demanding and expensive at times. This expense should NEVER become a taxpayer liability because the birth is or was 100% preventable. YOU pay, not me!

Being an advocate for special needs kids doesn't mean giving them freebies on the backs of tax payers. After all, if tax payers want to give their money to such causes voluntarily, nothing Palin has ever done has stopped them from that. But what an advocate for special needs kids in government can and should do is eliminate the barriers government erects against these kids via regulations such as the minimum wage.
