I love all of the Doctor's companions, but I mean come, true love! I just about cried when I heard this cuz I may or may not have sobbed when the Doctor got cut off before he could tell her that he loved her! It was so sad! Didn't any body else bawl their eyes out when that happened?
@TARDISEnterprise I don't think it mattered that she didn't know a lot. She was the most ordinary girl in London. Worked in a clothing store. And then she was the Doctor's companion, traveling through time and space. That's what made her so special. It's what makes all of them special! The companions are all brilliant on their own levels and Rose was the first. <3

Rose was a pretty good companion. She wasn't the best, but she definitely wasn't the worst. My theory is that at least half of her haters are Tennant fan girls who are mad because she took him.

People also ignore who she was; a 19 year-old shop girl traveling with an older, smarter, very attractive man. So some shortcomings she might have had could and should be forgiven.
Only two companions the Doctor had a romantic relationship with: Rose and River. And now he gets to be with both of them at once, in two seperate universes.

But I realized that she's actually not so bad- okay, maybe not as intelligent as Martha or witty as Donna, but there was nothing particularly horrible about her except she was somewhat of a stereotype.
I have a friend who looks very much like Billie Piper. I met her only a little bit after I got into Doctor Who, and I got into Doctor Who during the fourth series, so I only saw a little bit of Rose near the end... It wasn't until I rewatched the show that I saw the resemblance between my friend and Billie. Now, though, I can't unsee it. I look at Rose and all I can see is Carlee.

After I saw the Doomsday episode on Netflix, it was honestly difficult for me to listen to this song...Like, I would try and play it on my iPod, or my phone, and I would start tearing up and have to turn it off...I'm FINALLY able to listen to it without crying!

I love all the Doctor companion themes. All brilliant for different reasons. This one reminds me how much time has past already since we first saw Rose, and how companions have come and gone so soon!

@LilSquonker If you paid attention, It was all beyond her control. The Silence brainwashed her from birth and trained her to be the perfect assassin for The Doctor. After realizing who she is and what's been going on, she changed her ways gave up all her regeneration powers to bring The Doctor back to life. In the end, River or Melody became one of the most important people in The Doctor's life.
@HazyJonny Martha can be annoying sometimes and technically she was responsible for bringing back The Master, but I also feel sorry for her. I don't mind The Doctor having a "closer" relationship with his companions but I think the Rose storyline was pushing it. The Doctor and Martha seemed like they would've had an even stronger bond like Sarah Jane or Amy Pond, but he was too busy moping and crying over Rose to even attempt at moving on. Insert Titanic joke here, and where done. :P

@Mythezza I know right! She's one of the toughest girls I know. Okay, the other girls were feisty but that was all attitude. With Martha, she fought for honour, justice and what was right, she went out there, fought and made a difference, she didn't just flirt with the doctor 24/7.

@theamvgirlx She did flirt, but thats not all she did and was good for. She was a great character. She literally started out as an everyday girl, and ended up as someone worth working for Torchwood. The Doctor wouldn't fall for a bland skank :P

@652thedude You're fine. I used to hate her too, simply because she was the dumb blonde who ran around and was all-love-duvey with the Doctor. But I realized that she's actually not so bad- okay, maybe not as intelligent as Martha or witty as Donna, but there was nothing particularly horrible about her except she was somewhat of a stereotype.

I have a friend who looks very much like Billie Piper. I met her only a little bit after I got into Doctor Who, and I got into Doctor Who during the fourth series, so I only saw a little bit of Rose near the end... It wasn't until I rewatched the show that I saw the resemblance between my friend and Billie. Now, though, I can't unsee it. I look at Rose and all I can see is Carlee.

After I saw the Doomsday episode on Netflix, it was honestly difficult for me to listen to this song...Like, I would try and play it on my iPod, or my phone, and I would start tearing up and have to turn it off...I'm FINALLY able to listen to it without crying!

I love all the Doctor companion themes. All brilliant for different reasons. This one reminds me how much time has past already since we first saw Rose, and how companions have come and gone so soon!

Series 1 to 4 are my favourite!! although I still love the series now but something ended when David Tennant regenerated and the Tardis exploded. Russell T Davies was the guy who brought back Doctor Who! Stephen Moffat will never beat him

@HazyJonny You forgot River Song. The only woman who's caring enough to almost destroy time to save The Doctor and badass enough to make a friggin' Dalek scream "Mercy". Aside from ALL his major villains, River knows The Doctor better than anyone. Rose was the Peri Brown of the New series. She was a selfish character who wanted to leave her family and boyfriend and stay with The Doctor because his 10th incarnation just HAPPENED to be cute. And how dare she talk down to Sarah Jane like that?!?

@HazyJonny Yeah I seen the Journey's End Two Parter. So, Rose gets a gun.......what else? She may have mellowed out but she still has that mannerism. When all of the 10th Doctor's companions are on webcam, she started being mouthy to Martha because: "Whaa!!! I was in the TARDIS first!!! Boo Hoo Hoo!!!"

Well, compared to River Song, Sarah Jane, Ace, Amy Pond and K-9, Martha's not the best companion but to be fair she's not as bad as Rose, Mel, Grace or Kamilion and Series 3 was the best of the David Tennant Era in my opinion. Same thing for Donna but I found her a bit more entertaining. I like Catherine Tate anyway and she's proof that you don't have to be young and sexy to be The Doctor's companion.

@LilSquonker If you paid attention, It was all beyond her control. The Silence brainwashed her from birth and trained her to be the perfect assassin for The Doctor. After realizing who she is and what's been going on, she changed her ways gave up all her regeneration powers to bring The Doctor back to life. In the end, River or Melody became one of the most important people in The Doctor's life.

@HazyJonny Martha can be annoying sometimes and technically she was responsible for bringing back The Master, but I also feel sorry for her. I don't mind The Doctor having a "closer" relationship with his companions but I think the Rose storyline was pushing it. The Doctor and Martha seemed like they would've had an even stronger bond like Sarah Jane or Amy Pond, but he was too busy moping and crying over Rose to even attempt at moving on. Insert Titanic joke here, and where done. :P
