Canadian money is very similar to American money. The coins are the same size and have the same nicknames. Other than having a $1 and $2 coin, not much else is different as far as understanding how it works goes. I don't like how American money all looks the same. When I'm in the U.S. I'm always afraid I'll accidentally give away more money than intended due to mistaking a $1 bill for a $20 or whatever. Here it's easy. $5 is blue, $10 is purple, $20 is green, $50 is red, $100 is brown...
I've done that, actually. In Europe, the colors as well as sizes help ensure that you are giving a five note rather than a ten. Canada's money is really beautiful... in my opinion. American money is getting there... slowly but surely. By the time it looks good, it probably won't be worth the ink and paper that makes it...

Canada should be part of the United States, instead of a second rate world player, so that the U.S. could better utilise Canada's resources to this end. 2 years ago I tore a ligament in my foot. I waited maybe 30 mins to get an x-ray, then got free drugs and free physio for 3 months. Canada's mainstream pop bands are a joke. All real musicians know this. We had good ones in the 70's and 80's. Nickleback is Canadian, how embarassing. We have great jazz and classical musicians. I hate when bands refer to themselves as artists This usually means there crap.

The Guess Who are so old, everyone else you've mentioned is pretty boring in my opinion. "Joni Mitchell concert?? Leonard Cohen?? Oh yeah! My parents are going to those shows!!!" Neil Young is great, but he's one guy. He doesn't really have a band behind him that actually matters.
I'll even admit, Our Lady Peace was great til they changed producers and guitarists back in the early 00's. I used to love them as a pre-teen.
I have no favourite bands that are Canadian.

Canadian money is very similar to American money. The coins are the same size and have the same nicknames. Other than having a $1 and $2 coin, not much else is different as far as understanding how it works goes. I don't like how American money all looks the same. When I'm in the U.S. I'm always afraid I'll accidentally give away more money than intended due to mistaking a $1 bill for a $20 or whatever. Here it's easy. $5 is blue, $10 is purple, $20 is green, $50 is red, $100 is brown...

I've done that, actually. In Europe, the colors as well as sizes help ensure that you are giving a five note rather than a ten. Canada's money is really beautiful... in my opinion. American money is getting there... slowly but surely. By the time it looks good, it probably won't be worth the ink and paper that makes it...

The United States guarantees the stability and prosperity the world has. Canada should be part of the United States, instead of a second rate world player, so that the U.S. could better utilise Canada's resources to this end. The two countries never should have been separated into two entities. We have the same culture. Canada should become part of the United States in the interest of a better world. this is attributed to the character of most Canadians; not necessarily that there is no problems. The US is filled with those that would betray their own nation for money. Besides the US has 10 times as many people as does Canada and therefor the dynamics of corruption and the sociopolitical spectrum changes. The US is different. The US started out by nationalizing the creation of credit and of rebelling againsed Britain and creating a Libertarian Nation whose money is Gold and Silver. Canada was never like that and simply cowered before Britain. That is why Canada fought the first world war with Britain while the US never intervened. 2 years ago I tore a ligament in my foot. I waited maybe 30 mins to get an x-ray, then got free drugs and free physio for 3 months. My dad needed arthroscopic surgery on his knee last year, went in and got it done in 4 months - again all 'free'. Hey, lets see that 20 bucks buy something big like a transplant or cancer treatment.
