do u have the episode of winter in the four seasons? if so could u post a video of the rabbit choir singing a carol in toad hall its near when toad is choking on a fake mustache. it says something like 'here we are in the snow and the sleet, shivering hands and stamping feet' . that's all i can remember ,it was a long time ago i saw it.
When I get depressed I just put in one of my many DVD's of "The Wind in the Willows" and I am transported to a much better place.... thanks for posting......
It is such an enchanting place. Tea and scones by the fireside or a lazy afternoon by the river in the company of a few close friends... I love the narrative at the beginning of every episode describing the changing seasons. It really warms the soul, giving you a true appreciation of both nature and the simple pleasures of life.
Some absolutely marvellous editing there; I well remember this from my childhood and still find it enjoyable to watch over and over again, even if I'm now in my 20's. Five stars, and thanks for posting!
Beautiful.
