@veronika138 on it's own, i wouldn't, after reading how you use the two products, i don't see why you couldn't do the same with the smooth indulgence and the leg and body cover. i think i'll give it a try & get back to you on that one. i love finding new ways of using products :) thanks for the great tip/idea. and i completely agree with you in not over doing it, those are words i love by :)
Is the Vichy Laboratoires DermaBlend Collections the same as the DermaBlend Proffessional or are these two diffrent companies/products? If they are the same then what is the diffrence??
@butternutscotch hi :) dermablend will do a fairly good job at concealing the discolouration of a deep scar but it will settle into deep creases. it's a very creamy product and does not set and/or fill deep creases and/or wrinkles. it's primary purpose is to conceal discolouration on the skin's surface. i hope this information was useful, take care :)
Hi! For the Smooth Indulgence Foundation, does it have that cakey tendency that settle into pores/lines?
Sincere sympathies on the the scarring, bcos I have the same problem :((
Lactic acid home peels and faithful usage of retin-a over last couple of years really helped. My facial pits from 12 yrs ago are almost invisible. Have u found anything that works to make non-facial scars go away?
@coffeenciggy Hi there! I find that the smooth indulgence foundation is thick enough to fill in most lines and pores well enough, but w/any liquid type foundation, I find that using a good pre-makeup cream/primer will help minimize any of those issues :) I really like Strivetin's Concentrated Stretch mark cream for non facial scars, it's a bit on the pricey side ($135.00) but it works really well :)
@girlygirlmir12 Hi! Well, I'm afraid to say that dermablend is not completely water proof, but it is somewhat water resistant. All of it may not come off when you go swimming, but it may look splotchy when you get out of the water.
@mae2t Hi! Well, I wouldn't say that it's formulated for oily skin, but I have fairly oily skin and I do use Shiseido oil blotting papers about twice a day. I also use a matifying powder to set my dermablend to get longer wear.
Well, there are a couple of things about Cover Cream. It can be used as your only foundation & it can also be used as a concealer. If using it as your only foundation, there's no need for a liquid foundation. It would be too heavy if you were to use both. As a concealer, I would recommend using it under your liquid foundation. Personally, I like to use Dermablend on it's own with a translucent setting powder. Hope this answers your question. Take care! jonathan
Can you use the tattoo foundation on your face ?
I actually like mixing tiny bit of the cover creme and the smooth together.
Even tho I dont need much coverage at all i like the fact I don't need to touch up my makeup at all. Maybe some powder at the end of the day.
I think the trick is to not to over do it and blend it out well. Also I set it with a tiny bit of
Translucent powder.
Thanks for the video :)
Btw
@ sucha
They are the same companies

Hi. What is your opinion on how Dermablend would cover significantly deep scarring? Does it end up settling in the creases of the scar?

What color of that foundation do you use on yourself? Just to have some comparison, I'm trying to decide what shade is the closest to my skin tone.

if you are using liquid foundation with the cover creme, would you suggest to use the foundation before or after dermablend?
