they're called [MAD] simply because they contain many advance special effects. i wouldn't call this one a [MAD] though.

I have a question... what exactly does 'mad' mean? I've seen it on a lot of amvs, and at one point I thought it was the screenname of someone who was making them... but that's not what it is.
