  • its good

you shoud do more videos about rally

  • atleast da crashes where good and crazy

  • 7:57 this is not the last time this happens here either. it happened again in an almost duplicate of the crash except this time it happened during bush series practice in 2002 to Mike Harmon. something tells me they gotta figure something else out for that access road.

  • ROTFLMBO!!!!!!!!

  • We just love Rusty Wallace crashing at Daytona, don't we? LOL!!!!!!!

  • @sportsguruisme As a DW fan, it was always enjoyable to see Rusty fail to win. It still bothers me Rusty spun DW during the '89 all-star race.

  • Hey alm3, to answer your question about what racing a at the 2:35 mark of this video, I believe it's SCCA Trans-Am Road Racing!

  • lol 6:35 he didnt need the full ramp just the 1st few feet for a big speed bump

  • 3:02 who was that whos car accelerates wildly and slams viciously into the inside retaining wall at daytona?

  • @C0LL1N The racer hitting the outside then inside wall viciously is Brett Bodine, brother of Geoff [Who's in the red Motorcraft fire suit at Brett's door, out from a previous crash] and current NASCAR driver Todd Bodine.

Brett is now the current Sprint Cup Series pace car driver. The owner of Brett’s green #26 Buick Regal was NHRA drag racing champion Kenny Bernstein. They teamed together for 4 years.

  • 2:38 how is that happened?

  • I've seen the car from Michael Waltrip's Bristol crash; it was in the Bristol Motor Speedway Museum / Visitor's Center / Gift Shop / Ticket Office when the building first opened. It's hard to recognize it as a car and even harder to believe he got out unhurt. Same goes for Mike Harmon's similar crash more recently.

  • The music fits this video spot on.

  • ANOTHER AC/DC SONG!!!! respect to you cr250r40 :) another great vid

  • some of these crashes are just out of stupidity

  • @leprechaun3361 HAHAHA!!! you stupid bastard lol. go race a motorcycle... nuff said.

  • The MX-er is Gary Wells, one very lucky guy. Gary missed the down ramp and veered into a solid concrete wall, tossing him left to the ground where he and the bike should have traveled once off the down ramp.

Gary nearly died with a torn aorta [Heart], fractures to the pelvises, and fractures to both lower legs. He fully recovered to ride again five months later. The accident was due to the down ramp being moved without his approval hours before the jump.

    Gary still rides today.

  • what are the songs i like them all and nice job i like motorcycle crashes and nascar oyhaa dude nice work :D

  • the first song: Creed - My Sacrifice

and the second... I think something of AC/DC.

  • i like the music

  • WOW - thanks. I like the music, too. Most dislike my choice of songs for this video. You're one of the few that DO like the songs and I do thank you for your support. Ya made me smile. Cheers.

  • @CR250R40 How could anyone dislike the music who likes motorsports!? It's great driving music and good American motorsport music.

  • Excellent vids - all three of them!

More vintage SX and MX, please!!

I would love to see you do a tasteful collection of epic RC#4 crashes and or battles.

    Scott

  • Thanks. RC will be a future project.... I love MX and miss riding dearly. I do RIDE hourly in my daydreams. Thanks again for the kind words.

  • on 2:35 wat kind of race are those??.....

  • i think they are imsa prototypes

  • @thealm3idaz

Those are IMSA Camel GT Prototypes... That was at Watkins Glen in 1991. I remember it well, because I was there and wished Tommy Kendall good luck before the race. He broke both legs in that crash. Ever since then, I never wish a driver good luck before a race. Later that year in the Cup race there, JD McDuffie died in a crash in that same turn, leading to the inner loop on the back stretch.

  • C'mon guys, if you don't like the music, just turn it down. Youtube put volume control on there for more than decoration.

  • Thank you for the support. Honestly, thank you.

Many believe any song can be used in Youtube videos. Not the case. Copywrite laws limit what song can be and cannot be used. Youtube pulls videos within hours if Copywrite laws are broken. There are few if any usable contemporary songs. It's either the music I have or nothing.

I wish my choice of music was pleasing to every person clicking play. Obviously it bothers most. Oh well. I like the music used. It fits the era of crash footage shown.

  • just the parts with creed or whatever that stuff is

  • God almighty this music sucks, the compilation was well done. Honestly though.... the music sucks!

  • creed is one of the worst bands of all-time

  • Eyy man i love your crash videos!

But how have you getted them so good? :P

  • good videos. from sevilla, spain. viva fernando alonso y dani pedrosa.

  • Again Well Done!

  • Thank you. Your kind words are much appreciated.

  • Michael Waltrips crash (shown at the end of video) is certainly brutal. Unbelivable he was not killed ! Amazing he walked away from that mess !!!

  • Truly was a miracle he lived let alone receive no injuries. Every time I watch the crash I still watch in amazement. Great moment in NASCAR for various reasons.

  • No Doubt !

    5 Stars

I hope you can get your VCR fixed, you have an amazing collection on those VHS

    =)

    Regards

  • Wow! Thank you! You're kind words of praise are very appreciated. I'm so pleased you and others have enjoyed the video.

I have many more videotapes full of races from the 1980's and 1990's. More video compilations to come if the VCR holds up.

Thanks again. Wishing you a great summer.

  • change the dam ac/dc over and over sucky dude the crashes nice the music over and over sucky

  • I'm sorry the music is annoying to you. The intention of the video and music is to not annoy.

  • the AC/DC playing over and over and over and over and over at the end there was annoying as hell. please change that. otherwise, the video was great. and +1 for Bristol before they made it pavement. you rarely ever see that.

  • I wonder how many people would pay good cash to ride the ride at 1:19 LOL I feel sorry for that guy who really did ride it! great video CR250R40!

  • Thanks Rebel4055,

What a ride it would be. Wild! Be fun. I think?

Maynard Troyer is the driver [at 1:19] tumbling down the back straight 18 times at Daytona International Raceway in 1971.

  • nvm i watched the rest and figured out it was him

  • at 8:00 that is michael waltrip right?

  • a very nice mixer of different type of crashes. i love it how you show the lead up to the crashes too.

    thanks

  • I appreciate your kind words. Thanks. I wasn't sure how viewers would like the buildup to each crash. So far positive comments.

    Thanks again.

  • Absolutely some of the best footage I've seen,and I've watched probably hundreds of these compilations.Best video quality,rare footage,old and new.The only problem...the music.Sorry.Otherwise, A+++,5 star material.Thanks.

  • Thank you for the kind words. Had all my old VHS tapes full of races I videotaped and thought I'd make a few vids. Sorry about the music. I guess I'm a product of the 1980s.

You made me smile. Thank you. I very much appreciate your kind words.

    Thanks for watching.

  • i just blew snout out of my noses loooooool

  • Micheal Waltrip sure is one of the most luckiest man in the world, what a crash! :-o

  • if the guy at 1:19 isnt dead he's sure as hell dissy

  • Maynard Troyer is the driver taking 18 tumbles down Daytona's back stretch in 1971.

Troyer walked away with minor injuries.

  • Are any of 'em fatal?

  • There are "no" fatalities in either of the three "Race Crashes, Tumbles 'n' Falls" video series. I would never show fatal crashes. I wouldn't feel right doing that.

All drivers and riders in the videos recovered from their injuries -- if receiving any injury at all -- to race again another day. A scant few chose retirement.

    I appreciate the question.

  • nice vid

  • Thank you for watching. I appreciate the feedback.

  • your welcome

  • Even as a home viewer it was crazy to not only watch, but accept. You couldn't believe what you were seeing. I'm happy it all turned out well.

  • do you have full footage with audio from the michael waltrips bristol crash? could you upload that?

  • Hi. Yes, I do have full audio of Michael's Bristal bash.

However, my worn-out, prehistoric VCR is on it's last legs. It's audio output isn't working. On top of that my computer is being stubborn, too. I added music to the vids (While making the vids over the past month) to makeup for my VCR's frustrating sound demise.

Had the audio worked when I made these videos, the race audio would have been incorporated, too.

My apologies. Wish I could fulfill your request.

  • Any info on the wreck at Daytona at 5:15?

  • The car drifting up from the apron to the outer wall, catching fire after being hit by Michael McLaughlin, then Ernie Irvan, is Bobbie Labonte.

The fire wasn't too serious. Not too much was made of Labonte's flaming Oldsmobile during post-race interviews.

The big topic about the lap 1, turn #3 crash was its large number - 15 involved, 11 did not return. The Goodies 300 Busch race.

    Thanks for inquiring.

  • 1:21 - wild wreck ever back in 1977!

    great vid btw! awesome!
