That is complete bullshit, there are more deaths caused by marijuana than you are aware of. Statistically, more than alcohol and cancer sticks combined and you may say "Well, why don't we hear about it?" out of all of them i can't do without the cannabis, it suppresses my nightmares, levels me out, takes away my depression and anxiety, it puts me in a better mood, it really, truely is a medication.
I drink but I won't have more than two beers alone, I just don't like it unless its a social occasion. I smoke cigars but less than two boxes a year which seems a lot better than cigs to me. I love my pot though, I'll go a month or two and smoke 3 times a day give or take, then a month or two off and not smoke more than once a week if at all.
I prefer THC over Ethanol any day, I'm not sick the next day I don't gain weight and I don't feel nearly as wasted, just toasty good.
The way I see it is that I have done it all, but the only thing I miss is the marijuana.

well i see were your coming from but the main difference is that when alcohol was banned, idk probably 90% of people had drank at some point, so america was used to it. With weed, not so many had tried it, and it was a relatively new thing, so it was really easy for those motherfuckers to spread the bullshit lies that led to it being banned. After that, since the government made the law, they dont care if anti marijuana campaigns lie to people cuz their only supporting the government.
Marijuana wasn't some new thing in the 1930's, it had been around and used by American's long before it was prohibited. People just had much more trust in their government back then, and believed the propaganda.
Many kids growing up in this era were taught that Marijuana was this horrible thing they should never get involved in, thus teaching this to their children and so on until we reach today, where millions of American's against Marijuana are so misinformed from years of brainwashing that they don't even know why they think it's so bad. I highly doubt that a chronic pot smoker's lungs would be less damaged than a chronic cig smoker's lungs. There's no reliable research on the long term effects on a habitual marijuana user's health (ie: lung disease/cancer/emphyzema). Nevertheless, the fact remains that the criminalization of pot constitutionally illegal. But, don't think for a moment that you aren't increasing your risk of lung problems if you smoke pot.

Marijuana wasn't some new thing in the 1930's, it had been around and used by American's long before it was prohibited. People just had much more trust in their government back then, and believed the propaganda.

Many kids growing up in this era were taught that Marijuana was this horrible thing they should never get involved in, thus teaching this to their children and so on until we reach today, where millions of American's against Marijuana are so misinformed from years of brainwashing that they don't even know why they think it's so bad. America just needs to look at the facts, wise up, and stop wasting our tax money and throwing good people in jail over Marijuana.

unfortunately i doubt it'll ever happen. damn gov't has brainwashed nearly everyone i meet into thinking marijuana is some devil concoction thatll ruin your life and fry your brain... not true of course but they have millions of dollars in advertising to reach millions of people... its unfortunate but organizations that are pro marijuana legalization (SAFER, NORML..etc.) just dont have the resources :(

first. that second song is Dry Your Eyes Mate - The Streets. that is a great fucking song and the entire album "A Grand Don't Come For Free" is amazing. The entire album is a story and each song is like a different chapter.

Ok, that almost sounds reasonable...Yeah, lets get a republican controlled house, senate, and white house to make pot legal. Wow, its just that simple. The bottom line is that weed is better for you than booze or cigs so it should be legal. Think of all the money the U.S. could make on taxes alone. Plus it would cut back on drug related crime and the gov would be able to regulate it. Thats it, I'm moving to Amsterdam.

I highly doubt that a chronic pot smoker's lungs would be less damaged than a chronic cig smoker's lungs. There's no reliable research on the long term effects on a habitual marijuana user's health (ie: lung disease/cancer/emphyzema). Nevertheless, the fact remains that the criminalization of pot constitutionally illegal. But, don't think for a moment that you aren't increasing your risk of lung problems if you smoke pot.
