  • what is he actually removing

  • @7fgf7 Great question! Sand (left over from sanding the roads in the winter) dead leaves, dead grass, sticks and any other debris that is in the lawn in the spring. That's a big issue here in New England. The key is to do it before the grass turns green and starts to grow.

  • Wow. I would have killed for one of these while I was doing construction.

  • Good work, cool machine.

  • How many cc does the powerhead need to be to push that properly?

  • @Pank412 There is a 23cc model and a 34 cc model. 23cc and up is enough power but it has to have a good quality solid steel driveshaft and a good heavy duty clutch. That is just as important, if not more so, than the engine size.

  • anyone saying a rake would work this well deserves to be a custodian for life!

not trying to be a hater just saying watching the video you can clearly see how well its working

  • I'm going to be the most badass janitor when I get one of those.

  • i love it!

  • I dont get how this cuts time??? The guy went over the same spot for a minute. I could have done it with a rake in 20 seconds.

  • @garrett6699 It's one of those things you really have to try. It gets more stuff out of the lawn and it really does take less time. The video doesn't really do it justice.

Of course that's why we have demo units for people to try :-)

  • @HDReynoldsGenMdse I can see how it gets even the smaller stuff the rake leaves behind. I guess i'll have to try one.

  • @HDReynoldsGenMdse that is awesome

  • thats sweet to bad there so expensive

  • @nickisamazing1

For a commercial user they pay for themselves in less than a week.

For someone who doesn't have a big enough job to justify the investment, that's why we rent them :-)

  • use guys ever use the cultivator attachment? just wondering how good it is. thinking about buying for my home garden.

  • @thatbastardson

We sure have and it works very well. Very handy for doing beds and flower gardens.

  • @HDReynoldsGenMdse will it dig into harder dirt, that hasn't been "prepared" ahead of time? could you start a new garden, with it? just wondering how strong it is.

  • I used it to tear up a small patch of lawn near the house so I could mulch, and the ground was pretty hard. It was a bit of work but it did the job. I don't think I'd recommend it for breaking sod to make a new garden. If you are in the Berkshire County, MA area, we do have one we rent so you could try it out.
