My favorite parts were:

1) It took three minutes to finish booting up.

2) At 1:28 the failure of the dominoes to fall. The engineer pushed down the next row manually, but also pushes the failed dominoes in the wrong direction, leaving a permanent botched line right in the middle of it all.

3) At 2:58 despite this Rube Goldberg setup, the engineers have to manually trigger the finale, consisting of some stuff falling.

4) The helium Windows logo crashing through the glass ceiling at the end.

mo it isn't the same hardware. Apple Computers come with a special line in their "BIOS" which OS/x looks for to allow installation. This means that unless you HACK a PC you won't be able to run OS/x on it. And if you do run OS/x on it and attempt to sell the machine, Apple will sue you. So no it's not the same. Then of course there is the fact that custom PCs can be built with far higher quality components than any Apple Computer.

Which is why it is possible to run a Windows operating system on a Mac (which would not be possible to do on the PowerPC processors).

Of course, the hardware available is very limited as Apple completely decides what is available on their systems (i.e. not very customizable at all).

Also, please keep in mind that PC stands for Personal Computer... something that all Apple computers are. (I hate how they call others PCs when they are also).

You're talking about the CPU being the same (Apple now uses Intel x86 processors). But by using the word "hardware" you're insinuating that both Apple Computers and general PCs use all of the same components (hardware = components) which is just not true. The majority of PC add-in components do not have Apple OS/x drivers. Apple's driver library is much smaller than Microsoft's. This has a lot to do with the PCs intended market (customization).

most PC add-in components don't have Mac OS drivers because the Mac hardware has them built in. Ethernet cards? they aready have GigE. video cards? the only Mac with an expansion slot is the Mac Pro. Sound cards? they already built in something good enough to satisfy most Macfags.

I run an eVGA Classified Hydro motherboard. Good luck finding ANY MAC with as good a motherboard (hint there are no MACS with as good a motherboard).
