@NahtanhaB what class would suit you would depend on a number of things...your weight, budget etc . the reliability & maintenance on 250 twins compared to 125 gb is dependent on how well each is tuned. The + for the 125 is that it only has 1 piston 1 set of reeds & 1 carby to maintain. If you need any advice give Brian a call or send me an email at reedplastering@optusnet.com.au
@NahtanhaB I race with the stockman superkart team who are based in Tamworth N.S.W. Brian Stockman would be the man to ask these questions as i am only the nut behind the wheel. I can say that it is a combination of endless hours on the dyno testing exhaust pipes, porting , reeds, jetting, carbys etc etc........hp ( ample) thanks for your interest.
@streetwiseburger its a stockman mr2 with a honda rs125 honda. the front running 250 twins on the day were doing 1.31s. The fastest 250 single got into the 1.37s( that was Marty Latta No 6 ) i ran around all day in 1.38s which is still 1.2 seconds over Sam Zavaglias lap record. We still have some tricks up our sleeve & should improve by round 2.........cheers Reedy
@streetwiseburger Yes it is a 250 single ( number 6 ) there is a guy from vic running a tz125 & yes it is quick. There are a number of guys running various 125 shifter karts from sprint & they all go hard but are a few seconds off the rs125 times.
Nice Vid Reedy, good to see you are still kicking it!

Thats great, thanks ..
Can i ask is the maintenance and reliability of a 125gb like a 250twin ?
Im thinking of getting into superkarts but unsure which class to start with ..
The twins seem to have alot of DNF's and mechanical trouble .. Would you recommed the 125gb or 250single ?
Thanks for your advice !

Great Vid! Your 125 hauls compared to the 250's!
Is it a RS125 motor? My TM KV92 never pulled like that on main circuits. How did your times compare to the average 250's?

Those are some really fast times with your RS. Are there any TZ125 and TM125 karts competing in your class and how do they compare?
Is the Nr.6 Kart at 2:00 a 250 Single?
