People do learn differently now thanks to technology. To say we do not learn differently today than we did 50 years ago is foolish. Our psyche is definitely tuned to different learning procedures and methods.

In other words, technological advances wreck societies. All you've got to do is look around you- Polluted air, poisoned oceans, war, irs, democracy, etc... you get the idea.
