This tune I listened to first time in december 1998 in Club Rotation where I saw the show live on stage where the Geisha danced and played on the bells. Christopher and Mirko weren´t in the show. All january and february 1999 was the video Das Glockenspiel frequently played on Viva TV... great memories! I remembered it like yesterday and i still can't believe it´s gone but forever in my mind and original Schiller CDs collection.

It's Mahjong. I'd say you're right in saying that it's Asian dominoes, except that dominoes are of Chinese origin in the first place, so.... Mahjong and dominoes both are derived from some sort of older Chinese dominoish game, but when that game spread to the west it got changed into dominoes, and the version that stayed in China changed into Mahjong. That's what I think happened, at least.
