its a nice truck no doubt but u want power 2011/2012 f150 6.2L we have one fully loaded we blew the doors off 2 rams and the back seats r awesome im 6 ft and my knees r still not touching the front seats of the f150 best truck on the market no doubt but yet agian dodge has improved but ford just got better with the eco boost the of the line the twin turbo beats my truck

The 6.2 isn't a volume engine and is only availabe on select models.

The 6.2 is a badass powertrane but a better comparo would be the 5.0 or Ecoboost which are both available in most if not all models and configurations.

Man Kyle you've convinced me to get one! If I wanted a truck, this would be it. I like the Fords and Chevys but these new Rams have a much more menacing look and they're legendary for reliability. The Longhorn model is my favorite but I'd have no need for a 2500 with a Cummins diesel. I'd get a 1500 sport like this with the good old Hemi. Great test drive!

@MuskratandRatman Actually RAM just became another one of Chrysler's brand names just like Dodge and Plymouth (back when they made them). They're still made by them but known as the RAM 1500 or 2500 or whatever instead of Dodge Ram. But everyone still calls them that and they still have the Dodge emblem on them.

@MuskratandRatman That's what I meant the Ram emblem. But Dodge has been using that as their official hood ornament for years now. My family's 04 Grand Carravan has it on the hood and a lot of their cars from about 2000 and up have it. I know the bull is technically the Ram emblem but I've seen it on a lot of other Dodges as well. On older ones though you are correct. They all had Chrysler's old emblem, that star inside a pentagon shape.

@MuskratandRatman The whole Ram Truck thing is retarded, bad branding almost like in 2009 when Chevy only wanted to be called chevrolet, that lasted all but two seconds. Another poster was right, I have a 2011 Ram 1500 crew cab sport and it says Dodge in big letters across the dash. My girlfriends 2009 Dodge Journey RT has the same exact ram logo as my truck and paint job. Cross hair grill and the ram logo will always be rememebered as dodge, stupid move to remove the Ram from the Dodge line-up

i drive in new jersey, as soon the transmission go in the 3rd gear change to 4 cilinders and you save gas going under 55 m/h now if you go in parkways, turnpikes, if you go 70m/h 4 cilinders , remember this take off slow that is the trick.. my englis is not muy bueno, but i try (this trucks turn head) chevy and ford i love you too jejejeje

Everything about the dash reminds me of the Grand Caravan.. The shifter is reminiscent of the Avenger. Dodge threw everything from there other cars into the interior of this, the only reason people buy them is because they look nice on the outside.

One great truck and I hope to own one but UK roads may not like it! The fully loaded Laramie retails at £43.000 and gas is now $11.45 a gallon but it will not put me off. I drove one in Cedar City Utah and the owner praised his Dodge.

I think the Sport looks too much like the Laramie with the chrome grill, and I really like the look of the painted grill on the truck too. Makes it look...sporty.
