@MzMeaghanB The thing about Prim, I don't think she'd have been anyone's favorite character if she'd lived (maybe she'd even get blamed for Katniss's PTSD) but as soon as she died everyone was a sobfest for her. Don't get me wrong, I liked Prim, but just...I didn't die inside.
Finnick and Annie were my favorite couple. When he dies I was devastated!!! The way he died too was horrible........ I kept thinking WHAT WILL ANNIE DO WITHOUT HIM?
I was talking to my friend (Harry Potter fan) and I said that Finnick died and she was so sad and she told me she hated the Hunger Games. It just shows how awesome Finnick was.
*Spoiler!!!* I miss Finnick so much! He suffered such a cruel fate! He was my favorite character(After Peeta of course)! When I read his death,I stopped reading the book for a week. Even now, I can't accept the fact that he's dead.
*SPOILERS* I read the part were he died when I was sitting in the bus going to school then I told my friends at lunch " Guess what!!! I died today!" Finnick is my second favorite charecter! After Peeta. Then Cinna is third. I'm so glad Peeta didn't die cause then I'd be stuck with no fav charecters though!!! And Katniss, she's a player.

btw Finnick's death is the only one I still cannot accept. What bothers me is that for an important character that has been around since the second book, it was too sudden and written so indifferently that I had to reread the part three times before it sunk in.
And I don't know about you all, but to me he was pretty much the comic relief character ("do you find this distracting?"), and I absolutely hate it when those die!
See, the reason I could accept Prim's death (after some crying and throwing pillows...), is that Katniss showed an emotional reaction you would expect since Prim is very dear to her. And since we see everything from her perspective, her loss is also the reader's. With Finnick, however, the only thing we got was his memories flashing by and boom!, he's gone. That's why I was rereading that part until my "wait, what?" turned into "oh no, you didn't!!".
Everytime i read that finnick dies, it makes me tear :( y did he have 2 die? he just got married and was goin 2 have a baby.....it just wasnt fair at all
Mockingjay pissed me off! Cinna,Prim, Finnick, Madge! They all died God!! How stupid! The only character that I still oved that was keep alive was Gale!! But everyone blames him 4 Blolwing up Prim... and blah blah blah!! Anyway this is awesome!!!

Here's what you have to do............ Make a Cato's theme! I know it sounds weird,but whenever I think about the games I think of him because he was one of the most important people in the 74th Hunger Games. It would be so awesome if you made his theme! Anyway, I love this piece! I love the fast pace as it really goes with Finnick during his games. Like how they said he dominated the arena and quickly hunted down his opponents. You also didn't make the piece too dark for Finnick. Just right!
