I'm not going to slam the Leafs for not being able to make the playoffs (for 3 years running now I may add) because it wasn't all that long ago when the Penguins were the basement team in the NHL for a lot longer then that. Back when they couldn't give tickets away and came close to folding. All other teams should take note that the Pittsburgh Penguins wrote the book on how to build a successful franchise.
