i just got my cowon s9 today and i downloaded the latest firmware but will the latest one include al the other ones i missed? also the cd that came with it was too small to work on my vista laptop what should do??

The latest firmware already has any previous updates from the earlier firmware. You can get whatever software you need from the Cowon sight to download.

yes but only up to 16GB.

so if you do an update you first have to backup your files?

I have a 16 GB that's a lot of memory to backup, maybe cowon has to make an update next time, with the function that when you update the next time you don't have to backup all your files. Oke, the settings maybe will be reset, but that isnt that hard to backup, but all your movies and music is a lot of memory.

Yeah I would believe that would be coming in the future. If you are syncing via a media program such as Cowon Media Center or Windows Media player it will sync it back automatically.

you have to hook it up to the tv like normal

start playing the movie on ur s9

then hit flip on the menu and push export to tv (or something like that it says tv =p)

yes but you will want to be sure you set it to msc. I would work on mtp but some of the tags may not read correct so use msc. If it can mount via msc to linux then it should work.
