You're very kind, I do of course mean every single word I say in that song, it is our rock, it belongs to the people of Gibraltar and no one should be able to challenge that.

We're older in status that the north american people, we're now over three hundred years old whilst they haven't got there yet, they seem to have all the rights in the world whilst ours are being threatened and challenged, is it all to do with size?

It's not really important who sings it, the most important thing is that there is a song about the situation, and people can relate to the song and not the singer.

I wrote it and sing it, I was born in Gibraltar and I make the statement in that song because I'm true to my feelings about the place of my birth, The Rock.
